His crown looks perfectly normal in pre op photos.
I wonder why grafts were implanted there?
Anyways nice results
Hello @Rawkerboi,
the patient mentioned some concerns about thinning in that area. During the consultation once the head was shaved and assessed with the trichoscope we identified some areas that could be improved hence the implantation.- 1

any info on hair diameter?
Hi @mr_peanutbutter,
he has slightly below the average thickness, 50-58 microns. -

Impressive and nice results. Just 2 questions
1- What size of blade or needle is used for grafts placing?
2- What is the density per sq. centimeter? If it is convenient you may reply otherwise no issue.
Hello @AhmadChaudhry,
Please find the replies below:
1- What size of blade or needle is used for grafts placing?
Dr Turan uses the implanter pen for graft placement, that means that there is no pre-incisions made. He uses implanter pens that range from 0.7 to 1mm width. In patients with very thick hair, he uses 1.2mm implanter pen for multiple grafts (4 and 5 hairs)2- What is the density per sq. centimeter? If it is convenient you may reply otherwise no issue.
Density per cm2 in a hair transplant depends on many factors such as: hair caliber, hair/graft ratio, hair colour, skin laxity conditions, native hair or no native hair in the areas to be implanted, areas of implantation (hairline requires greater density than other areas), etc. So, they vary for every patient.
In this case, the implanted density ranged between 50 to 40 grafts per cm2. -

How did you pay? Did you pay when you booked or did you pay when you arrived at the clinic?
Hello jbx96,
there is a 500€ deposit which has to be paid when doing the booking. The remaining balance is paid at the clinic.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I was told that by the interpreter who works for Dr. Turan. He said Dr. Turan was most likely going to retire / transition to do a limited amount of surgeries on a VIP type basis in the next 1+ year.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to inform that this rumor cannot be further from truth. Both Dr Turan and Dr Gur are training other Doctors to increase capacity in our clinic, but neither Dr Turan or Dr Gur will retire/transition or change their involvement in their surgeries.
Hence we hope this rumor to end up here,
Best regards

Normally, a natural hairline won´t have such sharp design in the fronto-temporal area like the one you marked.
As you can see in the implantation, Dr Gur only had to close the fronto-temporal area slightly to link it with the temporal peaks of the patient. Due to the fact that the patient did not receed at all in the temporal peaks, there was no need to implant in that area. -

How many procedures is dr gur doing 😄 bombarded with his results today. Just Kidding but Keep them coming if they are like these.
HT results are great just like other cases posted today but was he on medication ? Please provide details on meds. because crown area and mid-scalp seems to have improved quite a lot
and what great donor he has..atleast it seems like it.
Hello Duckling,
Yes, the patient is using 1mg of finasteride EOD (every other day). -

great results but why were grafts used in the mid-scalp/bridge area ? he seemed to have hair there.
although density improved so much there so cant complain about his wish. if possible then what was his density before and after HT in top & crown area if you can tell.
Hello Duckling,
the patient had thinning in the mid scalp area, hence Dr Gur spoke to the patient during the consultation to work on that. -
