Hello everyone, first of all a big thank you to everyone here for the many posts and all the help, respect!
I would like to introduce myself, maybe someone has helpful information for me, which doc is suitable for my situation.
* Age: 36
* Current hair status according to the Hamilton-Norwood scale: very diffuse, I guess 3-4
* Planned budget: secondary
* Hair status in the family (parents/grandparents): Father was blank very early, his father too, my mother's father had a full head of hair until he was 90.
* loss history (fast/slow?): Slowly, diffuse since 18-19
*loss stopped?: very strong loss in the last 12 months
* Medication: March 20 – May 22 Regaine - Minox - Since May 22 a topical mix of Finasteride and Minoxidil, MySpring
* Are certain hair surgeons/clinics already in a short list? No, but I wrote to many
* Previous hair transplants: no
* Preferred treatment method: FUE
Since my hair loss is very diffuse, I am curious whether I am a suitable candidate at all, also regarding my donor area, which I would describe as medium or even less.
- The front hairline is primarily important to me (of course), so the price is of secondary importance
- It is also very important to me that scarring is kept to a minimum.
- -> Do I understand correctly that in addition to the experience of the doc, the tool used is also decisive for FUE scaring?
- How many grafts do I need?
- What do you think how many grafts I have on the top head now?
Just to have a relation to the grafts that are being added.
- Is it correct that the gray hair from the donor area gains color again in the recipient area, i.e. it adapts to the local hair situation, or does the hair color remain as it was taken?
- Due to my professional situation, I would be very flexible in the next 6 months, after that I can hardly take vacation for an operation, and that for a long time.
- -> So which A+ Docs have a waitlist that isn't 6+ months, how likely:
- de Freitas, Cuoto, Bruno Pitno, Bruno Ferreira, Heitman, Feruduni …
Attached are pictures of my current hair situation and the loss of the last time.
What are your thoughts?
Thank folks, very much!!!
cheers
