  1. Day 10 Post OP. Was able to remove all the scabs except for one or two. Will continue to update every month from now on.
  2. As you can see in the first pictures of my post, my hairline receded a good amount over the last years. Also a lot of thinning in the front. Styling was still possible but became harder due to temple recession.
  3. Some words on my experience after the first 6 days: The first 2 nights I didn't really have any trouble getting enough sleep. I'd wake up every 1-2 hours but I'd still get 7-8 hours of sleep. From the 3rd night it became harder due to swelling and itching. Night 4 & 5 were really hard because of the itching. I hope the itching gets better from now on. I'm following the post-op instructions very carefully and for the itching I use Aloe vera gel (which only helps a little bit). I don't have any pictures of the day of the OP except for this one. If you look closely, the incisions follow the same pattern as my hairline at age 19 (posted above). I can only show my respect to Dr. Bisanga of how detailed and good his work is. Day 1 Post OP. My back was bleeding when I took off the bandage so for the first day and second night, I still applied a bandage. On day 2 the bleeding completely stopped. Day 6 Post OP. Some great improvement in my donor. The recipient also seems to be healing nice. In two days I'll be in the last phase of the post-op care (day 8 - 14). I'll come back with an update at day 10, hopefully scab free.
  4. Hello everyone, 6 days ago I had my FUE hair transplant at BHR Clinic in Brussels. Below some more information regarding my profile and the procedure. Age: 27 Regime: Dut 0.5mg EOD, Min 5mg (oral) Graft count: 2219 1 FU: 404; 2 FU: 1116; 3 FU: 690; 4 FU: 9 Started noticing hair loss around 22. It started very minor at the temples and accelerated over the next years. Eventually started minoxidil & dutasteride to control the hair loss. 2 years after starting the hair loss regime, I felt like it was time to get my hair back. After doing some research I ended up with Dr. Bisanga & Dr. Feriduni. Originally, I wanted to have a consultation with both but after my chat with Dr. Bisanga and some research on his work, I was sold. He's a great doctor (one of the best), with a great team. My hairline at 19. Below some pictures to show the pre-op status. In the next post I will share pictures of the day of the procedure, the day after and 6 days after. I want to give a special thanks to Hilde, Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Kostis and the technicians from BHR Clinic. They are very friendly, professional and warm people. I also want to thank everyone on this forum since this has given me a lot of inspiration and courage to take this step.
  5. Looks really good! Did you already cut it on your last pictures? It seems you already got this length at month 1 (non transplanted hair). I got my transplant 4 days ago and the itching is heavy. Did you experience this too? If yes, between which days and when did it go away/ease off? Good luck!
  6. First of all, thanks for sharing your journey. I myself will undergo a FUE procedure with Dr. Bisanga in november and this gives me a great idea of how the first days/month will look like. You mentioned no pain during the procedure. Did the numbing injections hurt a lot, or was it manageable? Can't wait to see your next update, looking great so far.
