  1. Thanks man,i guess super premium package is out of my budget but i am glad you will have both of them working on your surgery and sure you would get an amazing result.
  2. I would have chosen Pinto over Eugenix for hairline and probably Eugenix for a higher norwood where a lot of beard work was also needed, atleast that's what my research tells me,but the holiday season does makes sense if you wish to get it done now. May i ask which package did you opt for at Eugenix?
  3. I was about to go to Eugenix for the same and then i saw this post and stopped, the point is that the slits are made by Dr Arika in this package and technicians just have to implant the grafts into the already made slits, and the left side really doesn't look like clean to me and scared now to pay so much and still not get a good result
  4. @NOTORIOUSYes that's right, implantation is said to be a very non technical thing and the hair takes the direction of the slits made,he had opted for the exclusive package in which Dr arika makes the slits, that's exactly what makes me wonder about this particular case,no clarification from either Eugenix or any expert on this forum as yet not even from the post creator himself for over 2 weeks now
  5. What about getting 500-800 scalp grafts and as many beard grafts as possible for your mid scalp and crown? I would rather have a head full of hair than a face full of hair, and then going for SMP to hide the thinning, you could even get that done in the donor area,i have seen a few results of that and it works great for thin patchy areas
  6. I guess so,or maybe he was asked not to post anything else anymore,i have heard many Indian clinics do that in the past from Darling buds to Medlinks, they don't want you to post anything negative about them on the forums,i would rather appreciate if a clinic can come ahead and take responsibility if and which something goes wrong as no one can be perfect 100 out of 100 times, not even God,i would rather trust such clinics more and was waiting for his update to schedule my appointment with Eugenix. I hope you are doing well and seeing good progress.
  7. Congratulations bro,Eugenix seems to have done a great job for you, hope to keep seeing more results.
  8. @Melvin- Moderator , @JC71, @Gatsby do you feel anything wrong with the implantation here? my knowledge is fairly limited but it doesn't look very clean to me but i could be wrong, some information from you people might help.
  9. Hey mate, very honestly since i have been researching on MPB since the last 14 years and been to dozens of doctors, yes you have started to thin and receding, don't listen to your mother,my mother said the same thing when i was 23 and i wish i had started medical therapy sooner. Parents see us everyday and hence get used to our looks. You don't need to worry too much but if i was you i would see a dermatologist and get him to see my scalp to check for thinning and start me on minoxidil at least if not DHT blockers. In a case like yours even PRP might work, but to thicken but i have never got one and i have no idea about it but have heard both positive and negative reviews about it,do some research about your hairloss, hair once lost won't come back,i wish i was as careful as you when i was 21-23 and i might never be needing a transplant today to get back my lost hair.
  10. Maz might be right, don't worry too much about it but yes your idea to give them a call is a good one just to make sure everything is on track if this is giving you stress,if you live close to the clinic you could go there and clear your doubts with the doctor,do update us on what the doctors tells you.
  11. Hey man,i don't know about the angles as i have no idea pr knowledge about them but you shouldn't be too concerned about it now and stop thinking about it and hope everything has been done the best,in the worst case scenario if there is some issue few months down the line when your hair grows you can always go back to them and ask it to be corrected, but i feel in the hairline part everything looks ok to my eyes.
  12. Thanks man and lucky you, wish you a speedy recovery and a head full of hair, you are going to have a hairline of a 25 year old probably till your seventies💪
  13. I may have to politely disagree with you my friend,we can't compare the construction of a house to a human body as the damage with a human body might be irreversible and life cannot be compared to the construction of a house, and of course precious grafts,if the bricks are lost new ones can be bought but if your precious grafts are lost we are pretty much screwed for the future as baldness is a progressive condition and no amount of money can buy you grafts. Since FUE surgeries have become so common, most people forget at the end of the day,it's a surgery where we are getting thousands of incisions on our scalp, there is a chance of infection and many other possible things that can go wrong in a surgery and some loss might be irreversible. No one is asking the civil engineer to do the work of a labour and put bricks but if the engineer or architect are not even involved in 85% on the construction and not even overseeing it i am not sure i am going to take a chance with the construction of that house. I just feel a doctor should be there to monitor and make sure everyone is doing their jobs properly,no one is asking the doctor to do the extraction, though it is being offered in the higher packages,i wonder if it was a lower end job to do the extraction or hairline implantation then why would they be charging more for it and offering it in the higher packages? Anyways,me saying this won't change their practice and won't change anything,i just have to decide whether i would like to opt for the higher package or take a chance with the lower one, thanks for your comment and feedback anyway,i wish you a speedy recovery.
  14. Congratulations on your procedure mate. I am shocked that even after paying Rs 120' graft, the doctor involvement was so less and technicians carried on with most of the procedure,i understand if Dr Arika wasn't there after the slit making and designing, but was no other junior doctor available for supervision for the entire process of extraction and implantation and just to check everything was on track? If so then it is really worrisome to me,to pay so much and get 85% of my procedure done by assistants who don't have a medical degree. If i have to pay Rs 210 + Tax which means Rs 240 then i might as well get it done from Spain which has one of the best FUE surgeons in the world and also plan a long awaited holiday to Spain.
  15. You are right,i guess 80% of their business is the 75 and 120 Rs packages,15-18% 210 Rs and maybe the elite 1-2% opt for the 350 Rs ones (the 18% tax isnt included which makes them much more costly). Since i have a Business Management degree,i can tell you they would never show which package anyone opted for from a business point of view,it would be a catastrophe for them financially,if they show not so great results for the 75 Rs ones, they would start loosing clients which amount to 50% of their entire practice, and if they show that the 75 ones are as good as the 210 Rs ones then they would start loosing those clients up the ladder willing to pay more as they feel best results can only come if Dr Bansal or Dr Sethi are involved in most of the procedure and leading the surgery. If you or i came to know that one of their best results titled the perfect hairline ever created, was a Rs 75 or a Rs 120 package, would anyone opt for a 210 one anymore? From a business point of view i can't blame them but would have highly appreciated if there was more information from a customer's point of view and less number of packages,i think having too many packages is extremely confusing.
  16. I just had a look at your video, looks amazing, happy for you man. Just out of curiosity,i saw that you have been taking finasteride for the last 25 years? how has the experience been and what has been your dosage throughout? 1mg per day or did you change it to 1 mg alternate days?
  17. Thank you David,If you felt they were over priced being from the west then imagine an Indian working and earning in India, the cost of a premium package at 3000 grafts could be enough for me to take 3-4 years off my work and live in Goa Unfortunately the 18% tax makes the Rs 210 package Rs 250,but it goes to the government and the government also seems to be taxing cosmetic procedures alot. But yes,i don't actually blame them too, they are competing at the global level and giving world class results,if they were too lowly priced, the whole world would be flying to them to get a transplant and hence they would get overworked and their results might fall, the only option is for more good clinics to come up.
  18. Thanks John, yes you are right,i would pay a visit to their Mumbai branch soon hopefully and see what is available.
  19. @JohnAC71, @Gatsby i read somewhere on this forum on various threads that there is a 20% discount offered on different packages at Eugenix if you book 3 months in advance,do you have any idea or information about this?
  20. Yes,that's quite expensive to be honest specially for people living in India where average salaries are 1/5th of that of US or UK,lets's hope that the situation changes soon, thanks a lot for your help 😊
  21. You are very right mate, only 2-3 good clinics are there in a country of billion people like India and most of the people in India can't afford these clinics, specially Eugenix prices. Since i am a manager with a 5 star Hotel in Mumbai,i can tell you that with the average salary of most employees working here under me (housekeepers or waiters at the restaurants) they would need 10 years of savings to get a hair transplant done at a place like Eugenix,so they have to go to one of these clinics charging 10-20 Rs per graft and don't get an invoice to further avoid 18% tax and at such clinics its a hit or a miss,i have seen some results of 10-20 Rs per graft as good as any other, but i have also heard of extremely horrible experiences of people,i hope one day,i really hope more decent clinics open up at decent prices to give so many men like us the hair we have lost. About Medispa,i know a few other people have recommended this clinic, but honestly to my opinion i have not found their results to be very consistent, and i don't think it is comparable to Eugenix, but at the same time,Eugenix is twice the cost of Medispa,so maybe for the price they are charging,it's good but since i have a decent budget medispa is not on my radar until someone can share their personal experience of getting a procedure done by them.
  22. Looks awesome, congratulations to you,and 1900 grafts have given a lot of coverage for your whole hairline and frontal area, the exclusive package looks good and clean, looking forward to your progress 😊
