    No sides on oral fin.
    You will be fine.

I certainly wasn't fine haha. Just wanting clarify when looking at these new topical formulas in terms of reducing sides as most people don't get them anyway . I've had side on oral and low doses of other topicals.

Personally I don't see why someone who's never had sides wouldn't just take pill. So much easier, but to each their own

  2. Whether Eugenix would be able to get the surplus needed outside the scalp would once again depend on your donor. Do you have a thick, dense beard that matches your hair hair colour and texture? Same with your chest and you'd need to consult with them to find out.

Remember body/beard grafts usually contain 1 or 2 hairs which means a higher count is needed than scalp generally.

If you go FUT I wouldn't worry too much about having already done an FUE (provided it was done by a good doctor and you didn't have any permanent shock loss in the donor)

"Topical dutasteride is effective no doubt is most people that use it"

what information made you make this statement?

There’s limited studies on it but also masses of those who have tried it got side effects including myself.

It’s known well that the skin in permeable and substances like alcohol enhance this significantly. Other vehicles like Xyon are designed to absorb well into the dermis layer but limiting it going any further

Dutasteride absorbs less systemically than finasteride but still very much does to a degree

Some individual's can also have more permeable skin than others due to variations in the skin barrier or skin porosity

    Hi all,

Is topical dutasteride actually effective? I understand it may have problems penetrating the skin due to its molecular weight.

I bought some from MinoxidalMax (FinoDuta), but, rather worryingly, there doesn't appear to be an expiry date on it. To that end, has anyone had good outcomes with MinoxidalMax products? The fact that MinoxidalMax uses an anonymous domain name registration is a further concern.

I've been taking oral finasteride for around a month or two, and have recently noticed (in the last week) my nipples and chest becoming very sensitive and tender, which is a serious red flag in terms of gyno. Needless to say, this is really disconcerting, and makes me want to stay clear of oral anti-androgens.

Losing one's hair is bloody depressing...

Many thanks in advance for any input.

Topical dutasteride is effective no doubt is most people that use it. If your formula has alcohol in it it will be significantly absorbed

I just received the Xyon Topical Dutasteride today but on the leaflet it says the topical dutasteride can you give the same side effects as oral dutasteride and Finasteride. So what’s the point of using topical if it has the potential to give the same sides as oral?
I am scared to take this now

It's totally worth trying. Dr Wong told me many can get amazing results from it even one application per week. Have you had side effects from 5aR inhibitors before?

What’s your experience? Would you say it’s as strong as topical fin?

    No significantly weaker than fin.

Coulsnt stableise with it as a monotherapy but used it as part of

    a stack with others

  7. Similar to @Tom Diepstraten I had a large FUT with Dr Wong last year and only have big positives to say about him, his team, and the clinic as a whole. I researched H&W scrupulously before deciding to go with them, finding every online experience I could. In not one was there a case of a tech (as skilled as they are) doing recipient incisions or not shaving the recipient site for the surgery.

The OP on that thread is very quiet since posting and not commenting much.

I won't outright call anyone a lier without evidence but it will be very interesting to hear the other side of the story.

I thought that H&W were the best in the world, even from an ethical point of view, I changed my mind after reading a patient's thread on another forum, where he complained that after a first transplant from them, with poor results (not I remember which of the two doctors operated on the patient), came back for a second procedure, wrote that the doctor, blamed the patient for having LPP, but the patient, once he got home, started to do medical checks on his scalp, without finding any problems.  The administrator of that forum undertook to ask H&W to officially intervene with their statement, which never arrived, and that thread was never followed up again.  Oh well, that forum I'm talking about , is known for blocking disgruntled users who talk about their bad experiences with clinics that pay for the forum, but since it is H&W , I imagined it would have gone differently, and that is that H&W would put their face in it , but they didn't.

What's LPP? And how were the results poor?

Ok cool , so to answer the question referenced have you experienced with this shampoo ?

I have, didn't notice any difference. Did notice mild improvement with Ketoconazole. That said, I used Revita, which is a lot less harsh than Nizoral and contains caffeine amongst other ingredients.
