Nobody gets such an early growth brother so please don't keep such expectations...generally people come out of shedding phase around 3 months..so you will start noticing lots of hairs poking out once you are out of shedding phase..this is a long waiting game my friend and patience is the key ...
If you looked for your photo you posted on your thread after completing 3 month. Your result look you have very early growth and However it is just 3 months.

Hi @DrTBarghouthi, wanted to thank you again for the new trial. Are you planning a follow up with previous patient ? A lot of people are interested, but we would understand if there are difficulties with your schedule. Please just let us know.
Yes now we are close to year

To be in safe side.
First go to the doctor that extract bad angle garfts and implant them In another low density area. Then wait two months as the hole will be. Healed then go for surgeon that do slit in the right direction and angle. As implanting inside the old hole that has wrong angle is subject to another incorrect angle also.

@Fego Even if the area to be implanted and extracted is different you need to wait atleast 9 months imo....sometimes even a touch up is needed if there is lack of growth at some spots so you can do that along with crown work when you go for 2nd session..
OK this is not the issue for me.
I am talking about the risk of blood competition that could affect survival rate and growth of transplanted frontal part 4000. As if I transplanted another 3000 or 4000 on the crown. the blood supply would compete with 8000 instead of only 4000 and this is my question if this could affect the survival rate and growth.
If there is no issue about the point above. I can do it and after that wait for year and do touch up for the full head include the crown also if needed

HI COMMUNITY
I have done my hair transplant for 4000 grafts to cover the frontal part since one month 1/6/2023
Now I am planning to transplant the crown area with 3000 to 4000 totally body hair chest and arm since I have good body hair after two months from the 1st session.
My question:
Should I wait for at least six month to avoid the risk of the blood competition that affect the growth for 4000 garfts in the first session. Or I can do it after one or two months since the donor scalp will not be touched and they are totally body hair and there is no issue about the blood competition.
Note I do not want to risk or affect the growth for the first session and in the same time I want to have full head after one year not to wait for two year to see the final result for a full head.

You might have already shed some of the hair. But just going by the area covered it definitely looks like more than 3500 grafts.
It's basically the entire top of your head apart from the crown
I think it is too early to say shedding as it is 16 days not 1 or 1.5 month to say the hair are going to shed

It is surrounded by a tissue so it might the transplanted hair but still can't be sure..and its okay to loose one..makes no difference ...and did you bleed?

Is my donor over harvested?

34. 5 years
No any medication used before due to its side effects.
Transplant summary
1st day (1/6/2023): 2144 grafts from scalp
2nd day (2/6/2023): 910 grafts from chest
3rd day (6/6/2023): 1126 from beard and 250 from pubic
Total is 4430
Doctor : Anil garg and Seema garg
Indore india
I feel to some extent disappointed about my surgery and not completely satisfied. As I feel the grafts do not look on my scalp as 4430 it look like 3000.
The first three photos of donor are after the surgery by 3 days of
The last two photo of donor afterthe surgery by 8 days at the airport.
Any way it is something that I have done, hoping and confident Allah will be with me and give me the best.

Do you have pics of your donor area?
That's one hell of a dense chest. Not only dense but thick hairs as well, you have over 10.000 grafts there. Man if I had that chest hair I would repopulate my entire donor area!!
After beard chest is the best source.
Make sure to get PRP into the recipient area (your donor) and to request for the grafts to be stored on PRP as well outside of the boy as for some reason body hairs are not as strong in survival as scalp hairs.
It will definitely make a cosmetic improvement and also the white dots go away as blood returns to the area when a graft creates blood vessels.
I done my HT surgery from 3 days ago and extrected 900 chest and 1100 beard to implant into my scalp.
Do you mean take PRP into my scalp after surgery directly or after the surgery by two months to increase survival rate of body hair in my scalp.
As well I hear that PRP is useful for healing so I want to take it in my chin from where the grafts have been extrected to help for better healing. Do you recommend taking it at the day of extraction from beard to get its better effect for healing or after 3 days from the extraction.

It looks just like a perfect execution. Design is really natural.
How many surgery days?
How many beard grafts?
How much per graft? Scalp and beard grafts have the same price?
What medication are you on?
I want to ask him the same questions above
Hope he will answer

Hi guys,
I received the biopsy results for both test and control areas as follow. Please be aware that the pathologist had very little insight at what the test area and control areas are and that he only knew that it is an area of an extraction site. He has no insight about the trial whatsoever. I also randomly assigned which areas to take the biopsy from and was taken from the 0.32 mg injection and control sites.
Test: Sections show follicular hyperkeratosis, focal follicular plugging, No Lichenoid perifollicular lymphoid infiltrate, No dyskeratosis of the follicular epithelium, No perifollicular concentric fibrosis and minimal dermal fibrosis. 10 Hair follicles are seen. Three in anagen, 5 in catagen and 2 in telogen phase.
Control : Sections show follicular hyperkeratosis, focal follicular plugging, focal lichenoid perifollicular lymphoid cell infiltrate, No dyskeratosis of the follicular epithelium. Perifollicular concentric fibrosis in some hair follicles and focal dermal fibrosis. 5 hair follicles are seen, 1 in anagen, 2 in catagen and 2 in telogen phase.
I do think this is clearly a positive analysis on a cellular level. Ofcourse we do have limitations in that we couldn't biopsy all areas but I think it is a good result after all especially the variation in dermal fibrosis and hair counts.
Thanks for sharing
After the result of biopsy and almost 6 months following the patient progress. What is your conclusion?
Do you think verteporfin help to regenerate new hair or just reduce the scar or both. So I did not start my HT and put it off untill see your study conclusion. Do you see now I can plan to use verteporfin as I have limited donor

Hi guys,
I spoke to the pathologist today about a date for the biopsy result and it should be ready in the next day or two. I have to mention that I have provided him with no clinical background and no indication of what these biopsies are. I understand that his view of the sample might be generalised and non specific as there is no clinical background (apart from FUE extraction sites). Nonetheless any positive difference between both scarred areas could give us an indication. Will keep you posted ofcourse.
I do have a plan for the new trial this month. It will be either an FUE in full (half donor injected and half not) and one injecting vert straight into the recipient area and assessing response of DHT sensitive hair.
What is the photo update says? Is there any further regeneration of new hair than the last photo update?

That is what I would like to know!
Best wishes to everyone and of course, especially to dr. Barghouthi regarding his circumstances.
Is the current trial by the doctor finished or delayed / stopped due the situation? Are there other experiments taking place or in the pipeline that we know of? I will contact some clinics in my country (the Netherlands) to see if they are interested and able to kick the ball further in this regard.
It would be great if we could get more data on the efficacy of verteporfin in humans, as well as to familiarize clinic with its' use, benefits and applications.
Tag Dr barghouthi.
