  1. Well if its any consolation, at least ensure that your 1st deposit to the clinic is guaranteed a refund if after a certain period of time you change your mind about getting a transplant. Many clinics offer that leverage. If yours doesnt I'd think twice before pumping money into such a clinic. Still, consider waiting before dipping your feet in corona waters. Stay safe.
  2. This is true. But bear in mind that vaccines are not 100% effective, there are looming side effects like newly discovered heart inflammation not to mention emerging variants. Not saying not to get vaccinated but I want to ensure that youre not risking your life over hair. Better safe than sorry. A friend of mine had encountered covid a month after getting the 2nd shot and he lived to tell the dark tale of how he almost lost his life. Something to think about. Stay safe.
  3. But how? Fue carries a greater risk/benefit ratio than fut since it involves more damage to neighboring unextracted follicles which has been documented. Provide a source.
  4. Really? I didnt know they sold minoxidil pills. Where have I been all this time? Will look into it. Do you need a script for them? How much are they? How are they working out for you?
  5. Fut does yield more graft survival than fue which has been documented. How much is definitely up to the skill and experience of the doctor, techs, your dna, etc. Sapphire is just a marketing gimmick which is not worlds apart from conventional steel tip. As for doctors doing all the extractions themselves that in and of itself wont guarantee a good transplant but chances are it will admittingly. There are some techs that actually do a better job than the doctor in that dept.
  6. Correct! Dimuzio doesnt know what hes talking about. Even the stuff he explains in his videos is non-sensical. Fue and fut cant be strictly defined. Appreciate the comment!
  7. For my friend who had a transplant he actually wore a baseball cap for 8 months before deciding he didnt need to wear one anymore. He was allowed to wear one at work. Now how embarrassing is it to wear a cap at work is up to the imagination. He happens to be lucky in that regard. If youre worried about returning to work with a still work-in-progress head ask your manager if you can wear a cap or hat. With some leeway and good explaining (including some ass kissing) I'm certain they can let you wear one at work. Your colleagues will either think youre undergoing chemo or losing hair. But dont worry about what others think. Just focus on you. In 6 months you'll have a good set of hair and wont need to wear anything at all at that point. Good luck!
  8. Hi parasol. From what I see in your pics even though your healing isnt the same as 99.9% of people on the planet I will say youre coming along well. The growth even in your pic from 5 days post op looks very damn good! Dont beat yourself up man. In 5 - 7 months you'll be happy and youll look at this experience as a well traveled journey. Now you mentioned that one should use transplants as a last resort. In my case I can style my hair in a way that no one notices my thinning front (comb over). But that said I still want to be able to fill the front and temples so i dont have to sit combing 15 - 20 minutes in front of the bathroom mirror in order to get the hair styled right. Its a hassle, believe me. So in my case what do you suggest?
  9. seen prp and stem cells being advertized for hair loss by the clinics. Seen the results and i'm on the fence. Based on transplant patients here which is the better option based on your experieince?. which one yields more density? kas
  10. i know what you mean. so far theres like 4 variant i read about. i'd stay home and not travel until the smoke clears
  11. I would just concentrate on getting a transplant on the crown. The front of your scalp isnt that bad. It actually looks good
  12. Been told that i'd need more than 1 trnsplant but to be fair wit myself i feel i dont need more than 1. I say this cuz I know my body more than anyone including doctors.
