  1. and if care is taken to identify pregnancy in the first several weeks. What does this part mean (from the 2007 Article)? His summary is that it's ok to take fin. during the conception process, making sure woman is not in touch w/ it, but what's that last part mean?
  2. Good to see some results, thx. for the post.
  3. My first HT is tomorrow AM! Cold feet yes, but looking forward to it. Do your homework, and dont look back..
  4. Granted I'm a relatively new propecia user.. but - I decided to take it 4 days week(S,M,W,F)and alternate between Propecia finasteride and generic fin. from Europe, due to cost ($68/mos vs. $30) and the fact I'm still cautious about the quality of the generic.
  5. Sorry if I missed it.. but what are you "spraying with?"
  6. I'm 35 In July. Here's another photo that may help. If everyone still thinks 2500 grafts are needed, I'd have to have a future session due to the cost and time from work. Does this seem like a resaonable plan?
  7. Looking for some opinions on my hair loss??¦ here's a recent pic of my head. Would 1500 grafts seem appropriate? I'm 35 this year and it's been like this for a while now. Started Propecia a couple months ago, and have met and been suggested receiving 1200-1500 grafts by a couple local doc's. Ideally I'm looking for increased fullness and slightly filling in the receding hair line before it really started thinning out. Generally speaking, do you think I'll need another HT in the future (in the frontal/top area) to get a good fullness? Anything else I should be concerned with?

  9. Good info. but I don't believe #5 is necessarily correct. The description makes it sound like anyone who doesn't get a buzz will loose/shed their existing hair. I know three people for example that didn't experience this (HT w/ out the buzz cut) and I'm sure there are many, many more out there.
  10. Just try it. If you notice any bad effects, stop using it. Everything has potential side effects. I've been on it for two months now. Was very concerned also, got myself informed, tried it, no issues.
  11. Just got the contract in the mail today.. it has a $395 "administrative fee" if one finances the cost. I was surprised to see this. I was planning on financing half the cost of the HT and paying the rest myself. Is this normal or is this charge just "extra fluff?" Thx.

  13. This is good timing for me as I was recently quoted $3.50/graft for 1500 grafts in the Hartford/CT area. In December I met a/ Bosley rep who quoted me $5.50 "end of the year special" if I got it done by 2008. What's normal for this amount of grafts? Should I be concerned?
