  1. Thank you Dr B did not mention anything regarding my hair calibre but my hair dressers used to tell me that I have quite thick hair. I’m getting along quite well with the minox - no sides and my hair quality seems to be improved as well. I’m in Germany
  2. Thank you Egy! I’m extremely happy with the result so far. The pictures above show the results obviously as bad as it gets given the lightening conditions. Under normal conditions it does look even better
  3. Here also two pictures I took just a few minutes ago (outside in direct sunlight). As said, will post a proper update once I got my haircut :)
  4. Apologies for the radio silence. Attached 2 pictures I was just able to find. One at ~6 months outside in direct sunlight and another at night with rather bad quality I must admit. I'm extremely happy with the result so far and will share a propper update after getting a haircut next week (my hair is getting quite long and messy by now :))
  5. 4 months and 3 weeks First two pictures wet and combed back. Last 2 pictures dry. Needless to say that I'm extremely happy with the progress so far. You can see from the top down view that it is still see through, hence I'm hoping for much more growth and thickening to happen in the next few months
  6. Guess you were 2 minutes too early :). Just posted an update
  7. Below an update just shy of 4 months with a fresh haircut. First two pictures with blow dried hair. Last 3 incl. some styling paste. Very last one is taken from the same spot as the above pictures (in front of a window). The other 4 are in the bathroom - two of which in direct sunlight. Happy to get your thoughts. I think it is coming in quite nicely already.
  8. Considering I was slick baled, I would say I kept a considerable amount of grafts luckily. Probably something in the 20% area, but no clue
  9. Below some pictures I took a couple of days ago. This is a few days post my 3 month mark.
  10. Also, below my 1 month update. First picture is from day 10 post op and second 1 month. Both under the same lighting conditions. Also a pic of my donor at 1 month.
  11. A few additional pictures at the day of the surgery received from the clinic
  12. Thanks all. I'll likely share the next update at the 1 month mark. I'll also keep you posted regarding the 5mg Minox as well. Yes indeed, Maa, very similiar. I've been following your case closely. I feel like your status even looked a bit more dense at the 10 day mark. That's maybe the additional ~300 grafts. Your hair look great at the recent 4 months update you posted. I'd be thrilled to have that status 4 months in!
  13. Day 0 / Immediately after the procedure as well as Day 1
  14. Dear Community, this forum helped me a great deal in my decision making process but also in making myself knowledgeable around the whole topic of HT. Therefore I wanted to give something back an let you participant in my journey, starting from the procedure I underwent at Dr. B's clinic end of January. About myself 31 years old Hair loss started at around 20 I would say and progressed really slow towards the status you now see on my pre-op pics Never took any medication, but have now started with Minox 5mg daily Graft breakdown 1 FU: 402 2 FUs: 1,298 3 FUs: 1,200 4 FUs: 77 Total: 2,977 at avg. 2.32 hair / graft I'm not going into detail w.r.t. the day of the procedure and the procedure itself as I thing this is pretty well know by now. Having said that, I'm of course very happy to answer any questions should you have any! What else to say? I'm obviously very happy and excited with this step and am looking forward to the coming months. In terms of healing and first days post-OP, I can say that I never had any pain (didn't even need the painkillers the clinic gave me with the after care package). 90% of the scrabs came off at day 9. My donor healed up quite nicely and looked pretty much back to normal at around day 7 I wanna say. Below you will find my pre-OP pics
