It’s generally just trial and error. I tried 1mg/day and got minor sides, stopped for a few weeks and tried 0.5mg/day still the same, then 0.5mg/eod with sides again. I again stopped for a few weeks then tried 0.25mg/eod about 3 months ago with No sides, I have just increased it to 0.25mg 5 days a week and as long as I stay free from sides I will remain on this dose. Everybody’s different and it’s sometimes just finding the right dose for you, but some is better than none.

Nowhere near 3000 required for that highlighted area, 1200 max

You are the first who said is certainly possible. If you google or GPT no one said is possible.
Anything is possible these days, might not work every time but I wouldn’t say it’s impossible and as @Al - Moderatorsaid I wouldn’t recommend it

Thank you! So I am first patient who received hair follicles from another person non related with me.
So your saying you’ve had this done ?
id say it was certainly possible, but it’s definitely not ethical.

Looks good on them last 2 photos with that hair style, I do agree on the earlier photos it looks a little low but with the right length and style it’ll look fine. Enjoy mate, certainly better than being bald 😀

You could try smaller doses, I also got mild sides like you when I tried 1mg/day, reduced to 0.5 still the same. I am now taking 0.25 every other day and have been for about 2 months now with zero sides. Might be worth a try as I believe some is better than none.
All the best

Judging by first 3 pictures you didn’t need a ht

2000 max at the minute, you would need to keep plenty back for future ht’s taking into account your age.

Hi ,
I had a HT for 4days in eugenix. My donor area has recovered but numbness still persist on recepient area . How long does it take to feel Normal. Can anyone suggest any massage
Regards
The numbness will subside slowly, but it took around 9/10 months for mine to disappear

Yeah mediocre result, the doctor should certainly be there at the end to check things over, and for 20k you should be stopping at his place

Well from that angle is doesn’t look like an aggressive hairline to me
-
Working from home you’ll be absolutely fine I’d imagine, I had slight swelling but no pain after my HT.
Sleeping is the main issue, for about 4 or 5 days it’s a little uncomfortable mainly where the grafts have been taken ( not pain but a weird irritating sensation)

I would not recommend on the chances you get side effects, how would you know which part is causing them. At least with separate doses you can eliminate this and micro dose if necessary.

correct me if im wrong but there is nothing a doctor can actually do in that case other then tell you to wait
Correct, my numbness didn’t disappear completely until around 12 months

Well, there’s a good reason for that. Would you recommend someone play russian roulette just because you survived? No. Someone who goes to a hair mill and gets a great result got lucky. But we would never recommend someone take that same risk. Now, you can nominate anyone. Ultimately, it’s up to the community to decide.
This is not about recommending anyone, I thought this is about the best ht of 2023.

I personally can't think of any reason someone would not want to be in the running for 'best hair transplant of 2023'. Anyone who had poor results won't get mentioned so its not like there's attention drawn to them, and if anyone is hyper-sensitive about their transplant, well, they probably didn't volunteer their journey on this forum in the first place.
And also people who had great transplants from hairmills won’t get mentioned, it’s the way it works on here….

Are you in the uk?
Yes

I had blood tests before my procedure in Turkey but didn’t pay extra for them… yeah they won’t operate if you’ve got hiv or anything
-
A tree certainly can… at my local golf course there’s loads of trees lying at an angle due to the strong westerly winds… not sure about hair grafts tho
-
I also left 48 hrs after surgery, had a connecting flight in Amsterdam then on to the uk… also no issues
I was lucky that the 2nd flight was empty and the flight attendant let me have the emergency exit seats over the wing to myself (result).. worth asking if empty

I wouldn’t say I’ve had re growth, but I seem to be maintaining my hair. I’m 49 years old now so maintaining will do me for now.
