  1. Better to refer to their reps and have a consultation . That depend on the package you choose for the surgery , usually 2-3 months . They are great with high Norwood scales and utilize beard hair along with scalp hair .
  2. Kids always like to pull hair 🤣 I believe you shall consult your HT surgeon about that , maybe wait a little more that 2 weeks to be sure hair is regrown and visible . specially that you are having only a touch up of ~200 grafts also make sure that surgeon use proper magnification tools .
  3. Looking at the current pics , you seem to haver very good density even compared to people without MBP . During my 20's i didn't notice hairfall , but hair follicle thickness was much less , MBP signs for me started after 30's . Some say that you don't realize that you have MBP until 50% of hair is already shed . In my opinion , you can consider you have a problem when you have excessive shed "even if your hair density still looks good" , or when your hair thickness is marginally thinner or root of shed follicles is smaller in size "for me that change in thickness was easily noticeable" Having said that , from pics you shared it don't to seem you have any signs of MBP until now , it's good to solve any hair fall issue early but extra stress also is not beneficial in that regard as it can accelerate hair fall issues if you have any .
  4. I believe hairline is wonderful and smart considering the traction alopecia recession pattern that you had .. As you mentioned Dr Bicer is really honest , her level of engagement with the patient pre-operation and post-operation is excellent . I like what she did during design phase so you end up exactly with the hairline that you need and that's right for you .. Happy Growing ..
  5. i believe from number of grafts you had and operation price .. you went to the middle option they offer .. This option includes planning of operation done by dr koray , incisions done by "dr koray + ASMED team" .. co-ordination and follow-up of extraction by dr koray .. so after planning , dr koray was possibly involved only and partially in incisions phase . in my opinion it's a worrying sign that more and more clinic are delegating critical tasks to the assistants which can have different skill levels .. the problem is that you can easily know dr koray capabilities in advance , but it's a matter of luck which of the assistants will be with you on operation day , it's a gamble !
  6. unfortunately , most patients planning to have HT , only look at youtube , clinic website and Instagram and don't have a closer look on forums .. only exceptional results of the clinic are published on youtube ,instagram , etc .. "specially when considering lot of surgeries are done per day , so it's enough to pick one good result every now and then and post it online" .. one moment in history ASMED was my first choice and my only concern was excessive grafts numbers used , until i was lucky to find HRN . Previously i was frustrated by clinics having exceptional wait time "1 year +" which mean you have to wait like 1.5-2 years to get your result .. but now i see at least such clinics are more professional and only accept amount of patients they can professionally handle pre and post surgery "many of them run 1-2 surgeries only per day while they can easily have more patients per day and earn more money .. "
  7. well , i believe in giving a chance to all parties to express their opinion , including patient and clinic , but Again , even if outcome of HT turn out to be good , poor post surgery follow-up is what's creating this situation .. wish you the best anyway .. in all cases , i trust this can be fixed ..
  8. Any clinic shall have junior DR at least to discuss your concerns even if he's not the one who did the procedure , he will have enough experience to assess the situation . At least their patient coordinator can take your questions and get elaborative answer from the doctor , instead of you playing the wait and guessing game .. Did you express excessive fear about needles , incisions before the procedure ?
  9. That sounded weird to me .. as as far as i know , HT i saw was done via local anesthetic .. it's important to have communication between patient and DR during a HT IMO , plus , excessive anesthesia can affect blood supply to the grafts . either way , you shall be told before the procedure about anesthesia to be used is local or not . to be honest during my consultation with ASMED done ~1 year back , they mentioned that they use local anesthesia , you can check the same in your evaluation sent by mail . That's exactly why you shall have a reply from the clinic to elaborate such point along with all of your concerns !
  10. very high density is a gamble in my opinion as it consume more grafts , i saw a video for dr sethi mentioning that high density can lead to necrosis ..
  11. In all cases i believe most surgeons won't do another surgery until 1year+ is passed to really have a full picture about all grafts growth .. In case you didn't have a satisfactory result , from your pics i believe you have a good donor , that can still give you enough grafts to have a very nice result at the end .. plus , you are late 40's , so your alopecia progress will be much slower ..
  12. grafts used at the hairline are single follicles .. as you go backwards , grafts are multi-grafts and typically have more thickness .. That what makes your growth pattern atypical .. it's early to judge , IMO you can have more growth , redness that you have may reflect that you are still recovering .. but it's really important to have a feedback from the clinic at this point and be patient a bit .
  13. fully sedated ? can you please elaborate .. your hairline looks strong which is a good sign as it creates the face frame .. i see you still have redness long time after the procedure , IMO you have slow recovery , that's all ..
  14. i was very much impressed with ASMED results posted online , but lately some people are having unsatisfactory results from them .. I believe this is the real value of this forum , multiple clinics can have great results , but then their work quality drop overtime , on HRN you can view recent procedures for any clinics posted by patients . More importantly , the worst thing any clinic can do is providing poor after-surgery support .. Having said that , i believe your result can get so much better over next few months , you are at 6th month mark now , some people have slow grow rate .. Can you post pre-surgery , more after-surgery timeline pics .. ?
  15. 1 , 2 - One of their rep. will get in touch with you via email/whatsapp , you can ask for a video consultation after that with either doctors . 3 - they will send initial analysis with number of grafts needed and what areas will be targeted and your Norwood scale , you can always discuss your needs with them and they will adjust the grafts numbers accordingly , same can happen via the video conference . best thing to do is send one of your pics with hairline you have in mind drawn as well as your expectations and areas you want to cover . 4 - number of grafts can be changed based on your needs and expectations of course "like hairline desired , areas to be covered , etc " but there's limits of course .. like if someone asked for hairline which is too low in un-natural way or any other thing that they know from their experience it won't be good for you , they will advise you against it . 5- They use DHT "direct hair transplant" which use simultaneous extraction and implantation to minimize period at which graft is out of the body and maximize survival rate . you can always ask any clinic for the technique they use , but from my research what matter the most the the skill of the dr using that technique . - It's a good idea to get checked in advance by dermatology . - ~ 1 week .
  16. it's available on chemyo , they ship internationally .
  17. yes I believe stemox is safe .. although less studied compared to minox ... for me stemox give me weird dizziness and teeth pain , so i was splitting the dose over the day , that's why i stopped using it . i have low blood pressure originally .. it's side effect that can be tolerated if medicine is to be used short term , but it's pretty annoying to stick with it for life .. so what do you refer to by minox side effects ?? how do you compare effect of minox vs cb0301 vs stemox ... "i know they work via different pathway , so it's nice idea to combine 3"
  18. Thanks alot for your input .. I tried Stemoxydine before , it's good but i feel shed start slowly after stop using it , did you face the same issue ?
  19. well my concern when i first posted this question was crucial extraction and planning of extraction phase , like choosing punch size ,which regions to use , strategy of using singles/doubles/triples , doing few extracts and .. that was my concern .. afterwards , Jr DR and technicians are more than capable of completing the long extraction phase perfectly because of their continuous practice in my opinion that's the value of the premium package
  20. but Premium package will add crucial extraction which is pretty important and hairline implantation so it's an added value i guess which package did you have what was your experience and what was each party involvement ?
  21. i have one more question , after how much time shedding start when people use finasteride or minoxidil . I'm just checking so i don't quit using cb0301 at the wrong time if i face excess shedding .
  22. yea so Transcutol is basically DEGEE , same as patent .. possibly will get it from chemyo , thanks for the head up . will try 50 "96% ethanol" : 50 PG
  23. what's TC ? where i live it's fairly easy to get 96% ethanol . but my question is shall i dilute it before mix it with PG ( 50:50 or 70:30) ... note : i can't source DEGEE mentioned in patent . i'm afraid 96% can be harsh on scalp , i mean you can feel slight burn sensation when it's on your hand when you touch it ,, however from what i read when people compound ru58841 for example , they use 96% ethanol normally with PG .. also did anyone tried K&B with cb0301 ?
  24. Hi , I need to ask about the best solvent for cb0301 , as per patent , it was ethanol:PG:DEGEE in 1:1:1 since i can't source DEGEE at the moment , i'll use ethanol and PG in 1:1 or 70:30 ethanol:PG , so my question is , shall a 96% ethanol be used in this case ? or shall it be diluted .. i mean is it too harsh to use 96% ethanol on scalp .. Also , i see no mention on how much mg in total to use per day , study takes about using 2.5,5,7.5 percent w/v , however the amount of volume you gonna use will determine how much mg in total is delivered to the scalp ..
  25. Well , they estimated much less than other clinic , around 1500 than can go up to 1800 for more density , or 2000 if hair line to be lowered . only keser gave suggested low graft no. other clinics are varying from 2000-2500 grafts up to 2800-3000 from what i hear , I agree that even technician there seem to have good hand-work and lot of practice .. Critical extraction as you mentioned is very important so that technicians can proceed and do their work perfectly . what package did you choose if i may ask , how was each party involvement ?
