  1. Hi all, to follow up on my journey, this is my 9 months update. Overall I am over the moon, especially with my hairline and density in the first third. Crown is still a little lacking but I‘m hoping for the next weeks to see some improvements here.
  2. Thank you for your kind words Jimmy! Hope you are also satisfied with your results! It feels so differently, not caring about the hair anymore when I wake up in the morning!
  3. Thanks John! I can hardly believe it myself when I look in the mirror in the morning. But it feels good 😃 Let‘s hope for the crown 🤞
  4. Hi all, this is my 7.5 months Update. Overall i am very happy with the results so far. However, I hope the crown will fill in a little bit more within the next weeks/ months. Any opinions?! 🙂
  5. Hey guys, Thanks for your positive feedback! Please See some pictures I took this morning. I am at 5,5 months mark right now and quite happy so far. Donor still looks little patchy and I hope for further improvements at the crown. Depending on the light, it already looks dense. In harsh light, it looks okay but one can identify the weak spots. Considering the „normal process“, I am just half the way what makes me curious for the next months to come! Feedback is highly appreciated (also referring to the patchy donor area)!
  6. 132 days Post OP I plan to have a first barber cut in the next weeks hoping to support current growth with a suitable styling. I just made two comparsion pictures. I know light isn‘t exactly the same, hoewever I think it shows big improvements already. let me know your thoughts!
  7. Thanks for your comments! I actually had two! Hoping for the big improvements in the next months to come!
  8. Hi all, just wanted to share my 1-week before 4 months update. I feel some hairs starting to grow which supports overall coverage. I started using fin after this HT but I experienced more and more side effects. I will try to lower the daily consumption to 0.5mg and see if it works. Any thoughts on my status?
  9. @JohnAC71 @Jimmy58 thanks for your kind words! Actually, growth has started and I feel small improvements day by day! Looking forward to some exciting upcoming months!
  10. Thanks man! He analyzed 8000 grafts left before the 2nd HT. In addition to my first HT, that would mean a total amount of 13.000 grafts... To be honest, after 2 HTs with both >5.000 grafts I strongly hope I dont need a third one....
  11. Hi all, just want to share my (almost) 3 months update. I think so far I follow the normal process. Growth of the existing hair supports overall coverage. Donor is slightly getting better but I hope the patchy look will disappear over time. Using minox is making my scalp very dry and causes lot of dandruff... Any thoughts on my progress? 🙂
  12. Hi all, I am exactly 2 months Post-OP now. I think current status is fine according to normal process. I feel some improvements at Donor area. So far, no growth of transplanted hair Vorsilbe (which is nornal for two months). Attached please some pictures I took this morning. Any thoughts?
  13. Thank you guys for your kind words! This helps a lot in these unsatisfied times!
  14. Thank you Jimmy! I agree, scalp is improving day by day. Anyway, i am frequently in contact with Asmed. They state that the patchy area below the scar is not a matter of shockloss. They see it as growing process case as I already had a surgery before and donor needs longer to recover. They expect the donor area to re-grow between 3 and 6 months. So patience is crucial now 😃
  15. Amazing results at 6 months stage! Also your donor area looks awesome! All the best for the upcoming weeks and more hair to come!
  16. Looking to your pictures, the new hairline becomes more and more visible framing your face very well. Pretty sure that the big improvements will come over the next weeks! Will be interesting to follow your journey!
  17. Hey Jimmy, thanks for asking! I‘m now 40-days post op and I think nothing changed so far. Transplanted hair is gone, „old hair“ is growing slowly and donor is stil patchy (esp. the lower part). I just took some photos to show the current status. BR, mario
  18. Thank you Jimmy! So far I did not contact the clinic as I agree shockloss is a common issue. If the situation will not improve the next weeks, I will reach out to them!
  19. Hey all, this is my 4-weeks-status. Ugly duckling kicked in but what concerns me more is the big shockloss area below the scar. Hope it recovers over time. Any thoughts on the current status?
  20. Thank you @KM90! Just checked your story, amazing results! Congratulations! You are absolutely right - they shaved the Head on day 0 and specifically the crown area on day2 again. Funny to see exactly the same gap in your pictures. Happy that it grew out well!
  21. Totally agree. In addition to that, I think the strategy of combining FUT with FUE makes sense to increase the amount of potential grafts.
  22. @Gatsbythank you! Attached please see quick update 18 days post op... i think everything looks quite normal so far and I already can‘t count the amount of hairs in my hand during the shower 😕 I think the donor recovers well as the scar from First HT disappears day by day.. though there is some minor shockloss in the area below the scar..
  23. Hey guys, reviewing the post op pictures (occipital), I am wondering why they have left a gap between the beginning of the safe zone hair and the transplanted area at the crown... it looks like a „bald stripe“... any idea? I think I saw this at other patients as well but not sure if there is a certain reason for that...?
  24. Yes i agree... have the feeling that the hair structure somehow changed over time. Its more waivy now...
  25. @deitel130 @GasthoererThank you for your kind words! Actually I started with FIN the day after my 2nd HT (so 11 days ago now). here you can find a picture before and after my first procedure in 2015.
