Most of them did however some did not.
In that case, stress seems to have affected the final yield per your examples. So I don’t think it’s fair to say that once the stress was remediated, then all the hair grew

@Captain Haddock I feel for you in regards to the issues you are faced to deal with. I’m in a similar situation but I made the mistake of going back to the same surgeon who ended up making things worse. I think your decision to not go back to the clinic is a very logical one. I hope you are able to find a good clinic for repair.

Looking good. What guard are your sides/back in the latest pics?

Thanks for the write-up!
I'm interested in doing some touch-ups eventually somewhere closer than 14 hours away so nice to know you had a good experience close to California.
Definitely following this.
Just curious, what was the cost per graft?
Your results were looking great. Where are you getting touched up?

Thanks. I will give this a shot.
Do you know if I can use both Oral and Topical Minoxidil together? Also, do you think I should now switch to Dutasteride instead of Finasteride?
Has finasteride stopped the loss over the years or has it continued?

I’m still pursuing Dr Bicer.
Dr. Yaman’s was super responsive. I was talking to someone named Doga. Very professional and responsive any time of the day. Answered all my questions patiently. Also gave me advice on Visa, travel etc. Felt above and beyond.
Personally I’d stay away from clinics that have techs doing big parts of the surgery like extractions or clinics doing more than one patient a day

Yes, I still use finasteride, rogaine to get the baby hairs to soften the hairline, and I use oils to improve the texture, plus medicated shampoo, and daily scalp massages for de calcification.
How’s the donor look when short? Pics?

About 2K-2.5K left in beard and another 2K-2.5K left for FUE. I had two FUT procedures, though I don't have an issue with the scarring/showing (see attached; taken maybe 2 months ago). It's my opinion that getting the scar filled is just part of the cost of having two FUTs. It's also long term planning.
I'm going to lose more hair as I age; it's inevitable. I'd like the option to crop hair short if/when that happens. Also, not going to lie, but I miss having the sides shaved down shorter. You can do a lot more in terms of style.
Nice! Thank you. 2.5k left in beard is great. Does he only take from under the chin/jaw?

Do you have pictures of the donor immediately post op? It will give a better idea of what’s going on

Wow. Can’t wait to see your beard to scar update. How many bears grafts do you have remaining? Does the scarring there show?
-
Why does the donor look like it has some type of mesh on it? What is it?
-
Any pics of the donor from the sides post op?

Work looks good. How many grafts total?

Finally a zarev case! Does he use magnification during extraction? His recent video showed him doing extractions with bare eyesight

Two large procedures and for both I applied Minox 14 days after 2x a day. Also, get on fin.
How long before surgery did you need to stop minox?

Great job. Any donor shots?

The extraction technic Dr. Zarev is using.

Suction was used in the neograft system to try and simplify the extraction process and combine the steps of punching and excising out the grafts. The graft would travel through a tube to be stored in a compartment. The problem is that the grafts desiccated and died. Suction has not proven to be the good historically with fue.
I’ve heard zarev uses his own device that I assume is an off the shelf unit with some add-ons. He’s seemed to figure something out that others haven’t.
but with all that being said, I’d choose skill of a surgeon over the tools any day.
