I paid with a Mastercard for the estimate of 3000 grafts. We ended up with 3750 grafts. They give you the first 50 extra for free, and then the rest are prorated. I settled up after the surgery. Depending on where you are..keep in mind the exchange rate and what cards charge you to convert.

I had a procedure on Feb. 9th with Dr. Rahal. Everyone was super nice and Dr. Rahal did a great job.

Thanks. I had to go back to work after a week and I was really wanting the scabs to loosen up. I kept the washing regime up, and recently started gently massaging the scabs with my fingertips. Mostly decided it was okay to do that after reading numerous posts on the forum.

I had my transplant with Dr. Rahal on Feb. 9. Around day 8 or so, I started losing scabs and some of them had hairs attached. Never any blood or pain. I'm pretty sure this is normal. Anyone?

I am classified as a NW3. Which doctor would be best? It works out to be cheaper with Dr. Rahal right now. Both docs say I need approx. 3000 grafts.
