5 week update. The redness is gone and my donor area has healed well. My existing hair is growing back so will look forward to month 3/4 to start seeing some growth

Hey It’s been 2 weeks since my due procedure . I will update pictures monthly to show my progress. Compared to my first fut ht then healing process has been so much easier with fue . All my scabs have fallen off and I think it’s safe I can start washing my hair as normal from today

Hi guys, just thought I’d share my pictures from my second hair transplant which I had in Poland on Saturday. Two years ago I had an fut with 2100 grafts which I was very pleased with but on my second operation I wanted to add some more density the the front and some work on the crown. So on Friday I went to Poland and had my operation on Saturday . My doctor recommended around 1800 grafts fue this time. Procedure took about 7 hours and it was totally pain free except for the first few injections. i have to say that Marwan and his team were fantastic during the whole procedure. He only takes one patient a day so you have the full attention of him and his team. I finished up at around 4 o’clock and Marwan told me he only needed 1680 grafts which was cheaper then what I was quoted, I think this just proves what an honest guy he is. I flew home Sunday with no problems at all. I know I’ve months to wait before I see results but I will keep all you guys updated with pictures . This forum really helped me out over the past few months so if anyone has any question please just ask.

Hey everyone, I have a second hair transplant booked in for September. I had my first fut transplant two years ago with 2200 grafts. The surgeon I am going back to preforms fut and fue. So I am a bit confused on which method to go for. I need another 1800 grafts. If I go fut is it possible to get another 1800 grafts from the same strip. If I go fue and use 1800 grafts would that limit my options in the years to come if I wanted any further work. would like to hear from anyone who has has 2 fut transplants. many thanks

Cheers lads appreciate all the replys I was thinking 800-1000 but it’s nice to get some advice from guys who know what they are talking about. I don’t use rogaine as it use to make my head itch like crazy for I had to stop using it but I have been on tablets for a few years and they have definitely helped. Just hope the operation goes ahead as I’m not too sure on travelling situation yet. Fingers crossed

Hi, I have my second fut procedure booked in September. I had my fist transplant 2 years ago and had 2200 graft at the front of my head. For the second operation I would like to concentrate on my crown area but I am aware that the crown is a difficult area to work on and I don’t want to waste a lot of my donar area just on my crown . So my question is how many grafts would be safe to place in my crown area? Many thanks

That’s some good advice thank you . I am taking propecia and have been for about 6 years and I feel my crown has not changed in the 6 years. I will be getting some graphs in the front to thicken up the area and would like to put some graphs in the crown area.

I’m 36 My surgeon is Marwan Saifi . do you think 36 is too young for the crown

Hi , I had my first hair transplant 2 years ago . I went for fut with 2200 graphs placed at the front of my hairline and am thrilled with the results . I have booked a second operation this year to get some work done in my crown area. Looking at getting 1800 graphs. My question is since I have a scar from fut which I don’t mind as I wear my hair long should I go for a second fut or look at an fue option. It’s my understanding the graphs have a better success rate with fut. I’ll try attach some pictures thanks in adavance
