  1. @Neil G you would know that if you have had the results that you are happy about (and I certainly hope you are) then you would also realize that you are in the minority from your research of Turkey. Do you know how many patients are operated on in one day by 'technicians?' Have you not read and scene all the horror stories on this forum (not to mention others)??? Your timing on jumping in is dubious at best.

    Go to Istanbul ffs !!!!!
este nove clinic Istanbul they are excellent!!!!!! Will save you thousands!!!!!!!

Turkey is the last place I would go to for a hair transplant. I've been there as a tourist and love the place. But when Syrian refugees, ex hair dressers and taxi drivers end up working on your scalp you are taking serious risks. If one or two out of ten turn out well then that's called luck.

  3. You can definitely improve that scar. To me it looks fairly new. You really want to let it heal for at least 12 months. Two years is more preferable as a scar takes a long time to mature and stabilize. If you choose the right surgeon then utilizing beard grafts as your donor would definitely improve the situation. Do lots of research on hair transplant surgeons who do regular work in transplanting grafts into scars. Take your time and don't jump out of the pan into the fire. All the best.

  4. Firstly the best thing you can do (if you haven't already) is to start on finasteride 1mg a day and stay on this and see how you tolerate it. You want to preserve as much hair as you currently have. You sound like you have realistic and achievable goals. If you are willing to utilize beard hair as a part of your donor then I would definitely look at Eugenix for a consultation and a review of what your options are. Wishing you all the best!

  5. @Lb25 you have nothing to lose by naming the CEO/Founder (as well as the names of the surgeons) who call this work 'very good.' They should not only be banned from performing hair transplant surgery but really should be punished for the damages that they have committed, both emotionally and physically. 'Fraud' also comes to mind when they deliver 10% of what you paid for and still call this 'very good.'

On the upside you will get past this but their lies and incompetence will require another procedure/s. Imagine if they did a great job and you decided to only pay them 10% of the bill? No prisoners! All the best.

  6. What is the height from the glabella (the spot between your eyebrows) to the hairline they have created in centimeters? If you could show a photo of your face front on and from both the left and right hand sides we could make out what has gone on. Just black out your eyes if you don't want to show your identity. As to this so called 'clinic!' You need to to call them out right now because tomorrow morning they will be butchering another person just like yourself and who knows how many before you have had the same experience? How can they have any come back after delivering 10% of what you both agreed on. Did they charge you only 10% of the initial price? It's clinics like these that need to close down permanently.

Also even more importantly how many grafts have been taken from the donor area? Do you have a photo of the donor area post op? If it was me (and I already have 35 years of anger in my belly) I would be reporting them to every hair transplant body on the planet. Along with demanding a total refund and costs to go to somewhere like Eugenix to cover the costs of repairing what they have done (or more to the point haven't). I've done podcasts, call ins on many YouTube and Instagram 'hair police' on just this sort of corrupt shit going on in this field. You hold all the cards but you just don't realize it (and they know that). In another ten years you will regret that you didn't go hard on them in hindsight. Further to that many others will have also fallen prey to these buffoons as well.

The thing you do have going for you is that if the donor supply has not been vandalized (and with 3-400 FUE grafts remove I can't see how it could be) it will be a process of going to someone like Eugenix to have any grafts in the temples removed and further grafts transplanted around the ones you have now. Don't get depressed. Get even!!!!! All the best.

Really liking the responses and details here.

I'm struggling to choose a HT surgeon.

I have Dr Vikram and Gro Hair on my list they Gro hair Dr's in Brisbane and Sydney have great instagram pages, also saw paras hair clinic.

So It's either pick one of the above or wait until International travel is open and go to BHRclinic in Belgium, DHI London, Dr Koray Erdogan in Turkey

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

No one in Australia comes anywhere close to Belgium. I know for a fact from a friend who is a tech that surgeons here can only do 1,000 or 3,000 because they don’t have the experience, skills and expertise that surgeons such as Dr Sethi, Dr Arika, Dr Wong, etc have. In fact you will pay as much or more having surgery here in Australia! As for Dr Vikram he is a fraud from New Zealand. Was busted lying about his qualifications, etc.

  8. I agree with all of the above comments. You have to have a lot of confidence and feel and know that you look better than not wearing a hair piece. I have a lot of scars and in many ways I was wearing a hair piece as much to hide my scars as I was to hide my baldness. For me I felt like I was putting on a suit when I wore it. 😁 But I was straight up front with all my friends before decided to wear it. I was around 25 and we had a wig party so you really need to own it with pride! If not it just becomes another thing to worry about. Eventually though you will end up sick of it. Whether it's the routine of it, the cost of it, etc. And the problem is it's like heroin. Once you wear a hair system for years it's almost impossible to get out of wearing one. I was done though and with SMP I finally felt free for the first time since I was 18!

    Lots of good advice above

I am glad you decided to Avoid another surgical procedure (esp body hair at the moment).  No reason a surgeon should have attempted to repair you and use up grafts after realizing how poorly the work yielded first time around.  Nor should have had operated on you at a young age until progression was more evident, but now is the time to try to feel better.  It has been a long journey indeed and a struggle for you that never should have been.  I know the feeling as an ever ongoin repair patient.  It really affects a person.  I too hope to have an ethical person correct the issue.  I am glad that you have decided to try smp.  It is probably the best option when it comes to creating an illusion of density around the scalp.  It willl hopefully fill in and blend well within existing hairs that have lost some density as well.  Should really help with scar line for sure.  I know that is a concern for you as well.

i remember fouseytube initially had great smp done.  It looked well blended and even gave a great fade look.  He was able to carry shaved look well, but whats interesting is, he had a great hair system that also complemented it later and gave options.  There is hope and just remember to stay strong.  I hope this gives you some peace and allows you to carry on without added stress.

here is fouseytube with tattoo repair via  smp

    here he is with smp

    and hair piece

I think when done right, it can give you options and relieve stress you’ve endured.

i am rooting for you.  This struggle from the start wasn’t easy, but i hope this really helps you.  Keep us updated man!  Best wishes.

I've watched Fousey before on YouTube having his bad work lasered off (and lasering does hurt!!). Like I have always recommended if anyone is thinking of having SMP research it as if you were researching for a hair transplant.

About €2,500 - €7,000. Obviously it would be nice to get the best value possible. I'm looking for awesome thick results. I need 2,000 - 2,500 grafts for my hairline (mostly temporal).

Are any of those guys that I mentioned worth visiting? I'd go to Turkey at the drop of a hat but it seems to be a minefield there.

For 7,000 Euro's I would be looking at Eugenix depending on what your hair loss is and what your expectations are. I applaud you in avoiding Turkey and not putting money first because in the long run you will most be spending a lot more.
