I am taking oral minoxidil so would I gain any benefit by microneedling? Does it only help with when I'm using topicals to help absorb or are there benefits using needling alone?

I had zero side effects on Fin. Ever since I've replaced Fin daily with dut daily 3 years ago, I actually have noticed I'll get a moderate stomachache lasting 5 min or so, maybe once every 2 weeks I take it.
definitely not an issue for me and I'm sure you're body aches are much worse.
But to directly answer your question, yes dut can cause body aches.
Should I try reducing dose to every other day?

Can I style hair whilst using fibres or do I have to keep clean? Also I worry I'll feel self conscious using fibres that people may notice.

What's best to style thinning hair? Waxes, clays ect

Considering how aggressive your hair loss is I would try dutasitirde first. Finasteride might not be too effective for for aggressive hair loss.
Either or, get on finasteride or dutasitirde. If you continue to lose ground on your hair loss jump up to dutastiride.
0.5mg daily?

In my opinion yes, it works better than finasteride anyway and given your early onset you might not more scalp dht reduction if long-term prevention is what you're after.
Take it daily yeah?

I am on oral minoxidil 2.5mg daily and oral dutasteride 0.5mg every other day. My biggest regret is not getting on these meds much sooner.
Would it be good to take fin on the days not taking dut?

Started receding at 15 years old, had a weak bridge and temples were about 3 inches further back then the hairline buy age 18. I've since had an fue and am happy with the results and now just looking to maintain. Based on the age I started balding, would I be best of oral dut daily alongside oral minoxidil?

Dr ball expensive
Dr arshad good but been dodgy recently apparently
Dr reddy and farjo but no idea on cost. Certainly more expensive than Europe.
Wouldn't you go Europe?
I would go Europe but not this year. Be easier if I could go somewhere local. Just want to thicken mid scalp

I had an fue 3 years ago now and just after a touch up really to hopefully achieve more density. Is there anywhere in England that's reasonable priced? Maybe even one with a payment plan. I would go turkey but due to recently having a littlen I don't really want to be going far. Currently taking fin and recently added oral min about a month ago in swap for topical. Not sure whether microneedling would be any benefit if I'm not using topicals, maybe that could be another option? Appreciate any advice

yes I take .5 mg daily. No side effects, just like no sides with Fin.

More official studies which cost millions of dollars are needed for it to be formally approved by the FDA. There are hundreds (thousands?) of drugs out there that are super popular for their off-label uses.
Its still super easy to get Dut from a U.S. hairloss doc.
If you already are on Finasteride, and a hairloss doc denies your request to be upgraded to Dut, its honestly not a doctor you want to be going to.
That being said, if you've never even been on Finasteride yet, or you have contradicting prostate or other health issues, it may make sense for a doctor to deny your request.
I can get dutasteride easy enough and have been on finasteride for 3 years. Just want to maintain now. But I wonder if dut will be better for that?

How comes oral dut isn't approved for hairloss yet its supposed to be better than fin?
-
Good time to start prevention meds mate

Anyone on here using oral dutasteride? Thinking of switching from finasteride to dut. What are peoples experiences and what dosing ?

what matte finish products do you use?
Just any matt wax or clay

Yea that’s the case, because your transplanted density will usually be no more than half of your original density - when dry, and at a strategic length, the illusion is very good.
The illusion struggles to hold up in certain conditions - wet hair and bright lights being two of the harshest.
Just to finish - non balding hair also looks thinner when wet, the hair is clumped together, therefore showing more scalp.
If it’s that bothersome - look into going for a second pass to add further density to the areas of concern.
Ahh okay thankyou. I guess just using matte finish stylers is important aswell then! Not bothersome, just feel happy with it then see it in the mirror after a shower and freak out a bit haha!
Using dut and oral min to maintain so hopefully does the trick

I'm very happy with my transplant result almost 3 years later. Looks spot on, however when hairs wet it looks completely different and much thinner. Is that often the case after a transplant ? I guess it'll never be 100% perfect

People who use oral minoxidil, do you use topical alongside ?
-
Anyone combining topical min with oral min?
3 years after 2500 grafts.

Can't really afford another transplant at the moment nor do I have the time. Am maintaining using meds and haven't noticed any worsening since which means the meds are working.
However my hairline is still see through and not sure if fibers or some form of disguise spray would work and also look natural but without hassle applying ect.
