Do you think I will see new hair regrowth? 

No sides ever. Oral or topical. 

I can definetly say, the topical has caused significantly less shedding.  Prior to use, I would shed tons of hair on a daily basis.  Now its just maybe 3 hairs a day.   But I'm not seeing any new hair growth yet. 

No sides on oral fin.

You are very unlikely to get sides. I’m 3 months in using top dut for Xyon. Just not sure it is working for my hair yet. 

I’m hoping for more in the next three months. It could be better.

If you are getting a shed, isn't that a sign that it is working? How long have you been taking 2.5mg? Give it at least 6 months. 

When I went from 1mg to 2mg of fin, I saw gains.   Not sure why I stopped, but I no longer do 2mg a day. More fin does make a difference in my opinion.

Oral fin lost about 40 perfect of its effectiveness overtime. 
 

I use pomade everyday. I rub the top dut on my scalp then apply pomade. But the pomaded I don’t think interferes as most it goes on the hair and doesn’t touch the scalp. 
 

I hope top dut works! In either case, I’m also concerned about the cost. $387 every three months is a lot. I’m thinking about doing oral dut, once a week down the road. 

Zero. I got a bad break out of acne after the first week of usage.  That’s all. 

Just to add to my update.  No sides. And overall, much less/no shedding prior to using the the topical dutasteride.   But now I am hoping for thicker hairs/and more hair growth as well. 

in 30 days we should have a decent verdict if this product works. 

Has anyone compared how the different foams are made? They all seem to use almost the same ingredients- but some slightly different.  I mention this, because many times when I apply to minoxidil foam at night, I get headaches or have a hard time falling asleep.  I've been able to pinpoint it to the alcohol in the foam.  As I get closer to finishing the bottle, there is more alcohol content.

 I recently purchased a off market brand and the bottle has less alcohol content or at least it feels that way and the foam consistency lasts much longer. And I don't get headaches when applying at night. I usually throw out the bottle even with there is still 20 percent left because more liquidity at that the end.   

61 days of topical dut

1. Shedding has stopped.

2. I think some hairs have started to grow back. 

First pic is from January 1st.  I started top dut on January 17th. 

Second picture, is from today. 

Xyon gave me two options.

1. Apply minox in the morning and wait one hour to apply the top dut 

or

2. Apply top dut in the morning and then apply minox at night. 

I apply minox in the morning, then come home from work take a shower and apply the top dut.

I've been Xyon Topical Dutasteride since January 17th.  I am a patient of Dr. Hasson and I believe strongly in his work and reputation. So I have good expectations that I will see good results. 

- I use it every day. 

- No side effects

- Shedding has occurred.  So that's a good sign. 

Previous to starting Topical Dut, I have been on topical minoxidil and oral finasteride for 15 years. 

I keep using, top minox, oral fin, and now top dut. 

Will update around 2 and 3 months. 

Mustang-  Everything you said makes sense, except for the last point. How can Topical Dutasteride be safer than topical finasteride?  

I've been using oral fin for the past 15 years.  No sides, and its slowed my hair loss. Would adding Topical fin or Topical Dut to my oral use of Finasteride add any value? 

I have a few questions:

1. Does topical finasteride or dut work better than oral?

2. Would adding topical finasteride or dut work better in conjunction taking oral fin? 

Clearly, topical works.

I don't recall, but I know it was super dense packing. I can go to a zero guard.  That's because I have an insane amount of donor hair. So even after take out 3,400 grafts. I still have probably another 9,000 grafts available to pull from the back and sides of my head.
