  1. I am day 155 of my post hair transplant of 2,400 grafts.  The grafts inserted on the frontal area, or where there was no hair before have grown in.  But I am not seeing grafts that were transplanted down the vertex- among the existing hairs to add more density. Same with the grafts inserted in the crown to thicken up the crown area.  I know it takes longer for grafts to grow in the crown area. Is the general rule that moving back from the hairline, it takes longer for transplanted hair grafts to grow in?

  2. You should meet with a doctor in person first. And pick the doctor you feel the most comfortable with, whom you have done due diligence on, and can show you photos of patients similar to your case.   Never, never, never pick a doctor based on price, location or convenience.  Some of the best doctors are outside the USA.

  3. I am sharing a personal review of Xyon's new Hair and Scalp Serum.  For full disclosure, I asked Xyon to let me review the product in exchange for a free sample.  I don't expect much from the use of the product, but it might help when used with proven medications.

The product comes in a nice box.  The actual product is small 30 ml bottle - it is an odorless blue liquid that you are supposed to use once a day. The serum includes saw palmetto extract, Capixyl- peptide complex, and caffeine. What's interesting is that Capixyl is a biomimetic signal peptide complex that has red clover extract. Red clover is known as a trifolium pratense which promotes hair growth. It is used in eye lash serums as a natural alternative to Latanoprost and supposed to be just as effective.

Between Capixyl and caffeine two main ingredients of the serum, I thought it would be an interesting product to apply to make myself feel better about attacking hair loss through the use of other non-medication options.  It's easy to apply and dries quickly.

  4. I came across this Rogaine review. I did the same thing a few years ago and I believe I got similar results. Furthermore, it seems that liquid works better over foam.

Been used Rogaine topical solution for almost a year. Twice a day , every day . I had some results within 2 months but nothing to write home about. Then I tried wetting my scalp in the shower towel drying then quickly applying the solution. My results doubled ! Then I took it one step futher and applied it in the steam room at the gym. Results got even better. The new hairs start off fine and white but later gain color and thickness. Presistance is the key ! Don't expect a miracle right away and stick with it. GOOD LUCK !”
