Hey Marshall thanks for the positive comments.  If my hair turns out to be as good as yours I’ll be a happy boy!  Are you still pleased with it?  I think I read that you were considering a small touch up, did you go back to BHR in the end?

    Cheers bud

    Hi pal,

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah I am really happy I had been growing it trying out different styles but have recently gone short like pre ht and the difference is night and day. I went over in December for an additional 600 grafts as dr b wasnt happy with 1 side, I gave updated my thread so you can see. I am sure you will be very happy in the new few months, happy growing

Thanks Marshall and Melvin! Yes, definitely clean work.

Any tips regarding the MSM or Aloe Vera?

    Cheers,

I used aloe vera as my scalp was quite red, unsure if it helped to be honest as it syayedvred quite a while but worth trying even as a moisturizer for the area

  3. Gents as mentioned in my last full update the dr offered me a free touch up when we met in London. My wife and child came with me and we had a pre Christmas holiday for 4 days, Brussels is a nice city to wander round and chill out. I had surgery on the 1st proper day and received 650 total grafts split between both sides! The dr shown me a issue in the recipient area seems as though my scalp was irritated and greasy and prescribed me oral minoxidil and told me to stop the spray version ( he did mention this in London but I kept to the spray he gave me the disappointed look haha). Anyway great service as usual think I was finished for 2 pm and went to meet the wife.  I didn't need to shave the front so had no signs of the ht after my bandage came off. The pics below are not great to see anything but they are front post op, the donor pics are 1 day after during my 1st wash and you cannot even tell anything has been done if you didn't look closely and then I've added 2 how my hair looks now before these new grafts have grown! Enjoy

Turkey borders Syria, Iraq and Iran - that is more than enough information for me.The government has an alert out for Turkey travel, and that is enough for me.   Risk your life if you will to save a few bucks.

Haha that is a strange way to look at it, Turkey has some top doctors well respected in this field and is a beautiful country which as I say millions of people each year visit and the worst thing which happens to them is sunburn, also isnt Mexico one of the main murder hotspots in the world because of its gangs and cartels so using your logic as it borders America we should stay clear and avoid the states. Anyway stick to what you know if that's how you feel but dont think you should advise people to stay clear of a country if you haven't experienced it

  5. Dazed I sometimes worry about Americans and your preconceptions of the wider world, turkey has had incidents like everywhere else in the world but is still 99% safe. It draws millions of tourists from all round the world each year including myself who has been around 8 times and know it to be a great country with great people. I would think you have more chance of being shot in the us than any thing happen to you in Turkey and I bet the statistics back that up. Go Turkey see what you think taste the food, enjoy the culture  dont just read an article and try and get people to avoid it!

  6. Dilemmas dilemmas! It is a tough one to decide I was swapping doctors each day for about a year. I have seen good work from dr pekiner and if you get a good feeling then follow your gut. I went with dr bisanga who is a real good guy warm friendly and a very top surgeon who cares about your results.  I know he has opened a clinic in Greece for cheaper rates where the work is done by others surgeons under his guidance and supervision which I think is definitely worth looking at from a budget point of view. Also I was close to going with demisroy in Turkey as 99% of his work looks top notch at I think €1.25 a graft also worth looking at, good luck

  7. Haha do we have uber made me chuckle that. Dont understand the problem when I wanted fin I googled uk finestride and it bought up many pharmacies that require you to fill in a online questionnaire and then send it out no problem whatsoever maybe try that

Man these comparison pictures say it all. You look amazing dude, so happy for you. Dr. Bisanga hit this one out of the park. How do you feel? How has your life changed since the procedure?

Thanks mate really appreciate it. I am one happy man my barber commented the other day saying hes seen a few ht now but mine is by far the best result which is great to hear. To be fair I was never one of those guys who got to depressed with hair loss I just didn't like how it was making me look so decided it was a ht or a skinhead. I am grateful I can try different styles and even tried the hairdryer a few times haha. So far best change I have ever made and I would encourage anyone to do it if it's a issue. This forum was great in educating me and exploring all options available, so thanks to you and your team as you boys do a great job. 👍👍

Thats really classy and professional of the doc to offer you a free touch up!

Haha thanks once I compared my pics I was balled over with the transformation. My chubby bald cousin can do one haha,

  10. Hi gents,

Apologises it has been a while I decided to just wait until 12 months to post as I was saying the same thing every month ha.

A summary of the last 12 months which flew by is that I made an excellent decision to finally commit to my ht and also in the research to use Dr B and his team top class and really do care. I am still trying different styles but it's a good problem to have ha. I have posted some pics below including outdoor ones to see it as it looks in sunlight (very rare in the uk) and one pic I did as a comparison from a year ago that showed me how far I had come and definitely impressed me.

I met with dr b and hilda 2 weeks ago in London to show my results and make sure everything was as he expected. He made a recommendation of going on oral minoxidil instead of regaine which he says in better, so looking into that. We had a good chat and he explained one side was a little weaker than he was happy with so has offered me a free top up in that area to meet his high standards. This confirmed that I made the right decision at the start in picking a doctor who doesn't just want your money. So some time in the near future I will go get my top up but I am a happy man who now owns 2 combs haha! Any questions give me a shout

  11. Hi pal,

Flight out was empty and back full haha always the way. The flights were fine paid extra and got a front seat to get off asap. I managed to spray ok every 2 hours just used the toilets in the airport and then reapplied the bandana. You can pay for the coach at the airport and end point really easy every 30mins no problem at all. You can get a taxi each way but as I say think it was€70 each way or a€10 euro coach seat so j decided to save some pennies. I was thinking about driving but because I am from Manchester it would of taken forever rather than a 1/2 hour flight with a beer in hand. Good luck anyway I know it's a big step

  12. Hi Danny,

I went last year nearly to the day , very happy.  I travelled by Ryanair from Manchester to Brussels smaller airport for around £70 return. Then used a shared coach service for €10 if I remember correctly rather than pay €70 on a taxi. I stayed at the hotel recommended by bhr which is 1 minute walk away and a comfortable hotel and stayed for 2 extra days to help recover.  I just wondered about and because you have a bandana from the clinic no one ready notices you.  I originally planned to get a taxi to the airport after surgery but felt comfortable enough with my bandana to get the coach again and had no problem.  Any more info let me know

  13. Hi arminho,

Congratulations on your ht and I hope you get the desired results. I must say though imo you are probably on the low graft side for a dense result as I would of thought 1500-2000 would be more appropriate but that's just my opinion. Also on 1 side there seems to be a gap between the new grafts and old hair if this is the case it seems unusual and I would ask the clinic why. As I say hopefully it will turn out well but just my observations.

    Regards
