Thanks for the assurance, Melvin. Do you or anyone have an idea of what the black club-shaped bulbs signify? I've went through some shedding before this incident and most of the hairs I shed were simply hairs with J-shaped ends. I've done some googling and there are so many conflicting stances on the matter. Some say such hairs are in the anagen, while some say it's in the catagen stage.

Hello, I've undergone a hair transplant 2 months ago and have come across a situation which is really causing me a fair bit of distress. A few days ago (about 8 weeks post op), I ran my hands through my recipient area and tugged at some of the implanted hairs which seemed to have grown immediately after the transplant. To my surprise, a few of them came out without any resistance at all! What concerns me is that these hairs have black club-shaped bulbs, and some of them have really weird textures/shapes (curly, spiral, wiry). I'm really afraid that I might have damaged or removed the follicle by removing them from the scalp. Someone please tell me my transplant isn't ruined.. I've added a picture of the hairs below. If you zoom in real close on them, you'll be able to notice the bulbs.
