  3. @RecessionProof here are some pics from April. I had been growing my hair out long for a while but it’s stll thin
  4. Hey everyone here is a week later from 2 months post op. I wasn’t planning to post this but I have been getting on and off all weekend and earlier the top of my forehead was swelling. I wasn’t sure what was going on or if it was related to grafts so I had some pics taken and am wondering if you can see any swelling. Has anyone had these head aches 2 months out? It’s odd because sometimes it feels as if the donor area is hurting as well. I took about 4 Tylenol but no luck. Hoping someone went through something similar?
  5. I’ve actually always had the strip surgery. He did mention that we may go to fue in the future but of course he wants to see how this surgery goes. Do you have any pics of your surgery? I’m getting a bit nervous since my previous surgeries especially in the front were not as successful.
  6. hello all, I did want more grafts but dr. Konior didn’t want a bigger procedure because he wanted to be sure this procedure or successful. I had 2 other procedures in the past 13 and I haven’t had much growth especially in the front. The total number of grafts that I have had done have been roughly 3700. I wanted to have more grafts on the back third and crown but As mentioned Dr Konior was leery of this. He did say that if I am successful we can do another procedure later on covering those areas. He is the expert in this field and I am hoping this procedure does well. It’s tough to see the grafts go though even when you know it’s supposed to happen. ?. But It’s all about trusting the process ? @harrylloyd how are you doing with the healing?
  7. Hello, My dr was Dr Konior. here are my pics I s from my 1500 graft procedure in mid June. First 3 are 2days post op. Next 3 are 1 week post op followed by next 3 being 2 weeks post op. And following 2 pics of dry hair are 4 weeks. Next 3 are 4 weeks post op. Last 3 are 5 weeks post op. I promise I will only post once a month, and I crammed way too many picks in this post! It looks like the grafts are gone and I’m an ugly duckling?
  8. Harrylloyd, the way I used the coconut oil spray was to spray it on after the shower not before. And I did this twice a day, after about 4-5 days the major dry ness was gone and after a week it was all gone
  9. This is an informative thread. I am 5 weeks post op in a few days and am thinking of going back to the gym. Maybe I’ll hold off. My Dr did say to not do exercises that would stretch the scar. But weight may be tough. I guess I may h e to test it out one day to see if I’m ready, my scar is healed but there is some numbness, possibly some tightness but not nearly as much since my sutures have been out.
  10. @gillenator is this one of the shampoo you used? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071VLXDKR/ref=mp_s_a_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1532302627&sr=8-5&keywords=aubrey+organics+chia+shampoo&dpPl=1&dpID=41-fzooxaeL&ref=plSrch
  11. Hi everyone, my regular shampoo before surgery was revivogen. When did you go back to your original shampoos after surgery?
  12. The way I had been using it is by leaving it in after the shower. Twice a day really helped me out, the dryness is almost complete.
  13. @gillenator what are the harmful ingredients in the Johnson brand?
  14. @harrylloyd Coconut oil did the trick for me. Aloe Vera and coconut oil should both be effective. You will find these at your pharmacy or even walmart. @gillenator what was the herbal type of shampo that you had used ?
  15. @gillenator that is correct it went away after a few days just as you mentioned ?. I am now 3 weeks post op and have the dry scans in the recipient area. Dr. k mentioned to use aloe Vera gel or lotion to help and also as of a couple of days ago that it’s fine that the water from the shower head hits directly to the recipient area. Anything else help others in this stage of post op to get rid of the dryness? I am using the baby shampoo as I have the last few weeks
  16. Thanks for your replies guys. You were correct the swelling did go down. The swelling is starting to go down but I know that lasts for a while. I am now 2 weeks down , just hoping for a great result ? But I am still a long ways out.
  17. Hi everyone, I just had a procedure with Dr Konior this week and everything went well. But I’m now Day3 of the post op and getting a lot of swelling. Almost like I have been Ina boxing match with Floyd mayweather lol. I have heard this is common but I actually went back to work today and was wondering if the swelling had hampered anyone from working as well. I feel like from where I was this afternoon and to tonight my eyes are getting more closed when I look in. The mirror. What an I do to lessen this impact and will it majorly affect my work? I have a delay job butt just more worried that my eyes will close up?
