@hair_forever he used assistants to input the grafts, he performed the slit making and oversaw the placement process.

I would actually in this case like to recommend the clinic that I visited in Turkey - Volomed. I was a Norwood 7 and they’ve done an amazing job restoring my hairline using a combination of scalp, beard and body hair in a single session. The caveat here would be they aren’t well renown on this forum yet.
Check my post if you want to see my journey so far.

@OleBaldy I’ve been pretty lucky to be honest, my expectations have already been met and more, my emotional rollercoaster starts now as I wonder if I’ll see anymore success

Thanks @hair_forever I’ll have to try and take some next time, just a little bit harder when you take them to make the camera focus.

@OliverAtom thanks Oli, if the next couple months are anything like the first few I’ll be in for a treat.

Month 4 Update - I’m really happy with how the growth has started to come in already, though I’m somewhat scared I may have plateaued quite early. I’m not sure if ‘too much too soon’ is a thing, but I guess that’s the pessimist in me. Have a look for yourselves guys, I’ll be getting a haircut today so I’ll post some pictures when I get some more time.
The recovery of chest area has really gone to another level this month too, and as I’ve got a full beard now the beard is healed by proxy too.

@Al - Moderator thanks I still get a few pimples but generally I’m really happy with how it has healed. How long did it take for the redness to go for you? I’m looking forward to that now.

Your case is honestly so similar to mine I can’t believe it.
Before I went for my HT I couldn’t find a single post like this, and now we’re both documenting our journeys. Hopefully it’ll help others as this method of HT, with a tailored outcome and realistic expectations is infinitely better than a slick bald head with SMP.

Circa 3 1/2 month update.
Growth is now looking incredible, I’m increasingly optimistic about the prospects here.
For what it’s worth, I have been washing my head everyday as normal once in the morning and once at night with a shampoo provided by the clinic. I then moisturise my head, apply Miele rosemary oil and take a generic biotin pill.

The wisps that you see are actually hairs yes. You have pimples in the donor area which is normal but it looks like they took too many grafts out. If you like shaving your head in the donor area you should stick with it. And what is the point of doing temple points wich chest hair with your level of hairloss?
Oooh that’s promising then, I thought as much similar to the valus hairs caused my minoxidil. I was worried about the pimples so thank you, the temple points were covered with scalp hair, I think you may have mis-read.

Thank you, actually the overwhelming majority voted to enforce naming the surgeon in all threads.
If you have a good counter argument im all ears.
Fair enough I hold my hands up

Month 5 update, I think it’s fair to say the progress has slowed and the hairline may need another touch up in a few months time.
