Most people who are taking oral minoxidil for hair loss are already aware of the primary use of the drug. The dosage taken for hair loss is well below the dosage used for hypertension.
It can even happen with topical minoxidil but less likely !

It seems you make one of these Norwood 7 doom threads at least once a week. No one can tell the future, Norwood 7 is rare, but if you have relatives with that level of baldness, then it could happen.
It’s my main worry 😂
I have one uncle with Norwood 7 and most of the other relatives have less degrees ! -
Does severe hair loss in early age mean always progression to Norwood 7 later in life or not always ?

Minoxidil is a strong blood pressure medication
it can cause serious effects on your heart

Fin is utterly TOXIC to many ppl. In fact, many have permanent sexual side effects as a result.
I wouldnt recommend that to anyone ever!
There is some evidence that it can also cause infertility in men.
Even topical minoxidil can cause serious changes in the heart and blood vessels with long term use.
This is the problem with hair loss medications! -

I know Zoomster had around 1,400 beard grafts used and paddyirishman had around 700 out of ~3,600 grafts.
Both have fine hair and the beard grafts mixed well!
I think it depends on the ratio between beard snd head grafts. In both cases only a small percentage of beard grafts were used !
-
The question is if you progress from NW 6 to 7 after a HT, how many extra grafts will you need to cover this area ?
-
Is it possible to use beard grafts in all cases?
Because beard hairs are usually thicker and more coarse so there will be a difference specially if you have fine scalp hair ? -
Can I ask why you decided to shave it ?

Smp, @Gatsby has shared his pictures, he had really bad FUT scars, smp did an excellent job. It’s never too late to shave.
At the end it’s an ink on your head and it’s never the same as a non touched shaved head !
That’s what I tell to my younger self.

I didn't know that the slits can be made a day prior to implantation. Wouldn't they close up in that time?
Why they make slits if they are using DHT ?

Shave your head

Does it look natural if you have a HT for front and mid scalp and leave the crown empty if baldness progress in the future and you have a limited donor area ?
-
I saw some people with smp and I could tell that they had it. May be because I saw many smp photos and can tell the difference!
-
It’s a difficult decision as I feel that I will progress to norwood 7 and I can’t take Finasteride because of side effects !

Can he grow his hair long in the future ?

Unfortunately this forum is part of the hair restoration industry so it promotes the successful results and it gives false hope to people but for each successful case there are too many bad results but they don’t get the same promotion!

I don’t understand why they did the first operation with this donor area.
I don’t think any ethical doctor would do that!
-
As far as I know, SMP will be done between the hairs so how can it cover these tenting / cobblestonning scars at each transplanted hair ?
