  1. hi guys, thanks for viewing the thread. As the title states, i'm wonderin how did joe rogan manage to remove his hair transplant & look so good, as if nothing has happened in the area. i know he says he shaves his head every 3 days in one of his podcasts, but I am wondering if he manually fue'd out the previous 3 transplants he did or what? His head looks as if it is of virgin scalp or skin, like its never been touched. I know he still has his FUT scar in the back.

Thanks for your time, hope someone can chime in on this. I've searched the entire wide web, couldnt find nothing.

Awesome respone John. I appreciate your wisdom greatly. Okay i will look into each doc and get back to you soon. I appreciate you. I am mainly looking for repair work on the hairline since i already had a ht on the hairline 3 years ago and the result was not good, too straight of a line, hairline did not consist of only single hair grafts and overall did not look natural. Looking for a doc who achieves natural and can repair this

So is dr Kayihan Sahinoglu a real doctor or this whole thing is a scam? I’ve seen his website and he is a American Board Hair Restoration member, with awesome natural looking results however nothinf about him on this website.

    Hello,

I think it would be inappropriate to compare different names here. I would rather talk about the ISHRS fellow members.

Kayihan Sahinoglu - I represent him because he is the oldest member of the organization in Turkey. He doesn't work any technicians, has been doing this for 22 years, prefers FUE. He and Tayfun Oguzoglu will host an ISHRS workshop in this May for ISHRS members where they will show their techniques to all members.

Ali Emre Karadeniz - He is a younger version of Kayihan Sahinoglu, very talented and prefers to build a strategy rather than planting as many grafts as possible. He offers packages where either you can get the surgery from him personally, or from a technician, or extraction him and planting by the technician. He is another fellow member.

These are the two doctors I would go myself. This does not mean other surgeons are not good or unethical. The reason why I picked them is their dedication to their profession. And also, these two are the only clinics where you get a response if something goes wrong after your surgery. Kayihan Sahinoglu is now in Amsterdam, he went to meet there with his patients he performed the surgery in the last year. He is going to check their progress personally and explain their questions. I know he travels to Germany too because his main patient base is there.

If you like, I can give consultation for free and let you know what I think about you. If you like it, I try to connect you to the right people.

I hope this answers your question.

Just under 3 month mark. It will be 90 days on the 16th. Ugly duckling at its best here and don’t think there has been any progress. Next post will be most likely from the 6 month mark. Hopefully by then there will be some solid visual difference.

    Thoughts?

All is normal and the hairs are starting to grow. Happy growing! I’m sure you will be ecstatic at your 6month mark!

    Hey Bill,

I try to get my signature but couldn't make it happen. If you can help me with that, it would be great. I am actually a little different than a clinic, I am the founder of Hair Guru Agency. My idea is, making sure people don't get hurt from the black market and unlicensed doctors. I recommend one doctor only because I believe he is the right model for all other clinics. I have his rights to represent him to all English speaking countries. I will write that down to my signature once I figure out how to do so.

As I have only one surgeon I recommend, and because he performs the surgery personally, I can only help a few patients monthly. Our idea at the agency is to make sure all the clinics in Turkey bring the same standards and we protect patients from all over the world. For this reason, I will try to work closely with ISHRS and make sure it functions more strongly.

While I do this, I like to visit different forums and tell my opinions to people. If they ask for help, I help them for free. So far, I have made no income from this and helped many people to make their decision.

One instance is, a patient asked me my opinion of a Turkish surgeon. Without telling my personal opinion, I explained him the different packages the clinic offers. After hearing that, he realized that there is technician involvement. Then, he made a choice knowing everything about the doctor and he is very happy with the result.

In another instance, I helped a patient to decide if he will get the surgery or not. From my point of view, his scalp and hair characteristics were not fit for surgery. He was about to get a crazy amount of grafts from a clinic I won't name. He changed his mind then and chose a different, non-surgical treatment. Later, he found out that this particular clinic had many instances with similar cases where the results were really unimpressive.

This is what we do at the agency. I have a business background and live in Canada. I have attended the last ISHRS conference in Los Angeles and am familiar with many doctors. But because I respect them, I choose not to give my direct opinion and explain the factors to people when they ask. And now, I offer help to people making their choices. I don't care who chooses which clinic, I only care the choice is made with every information known and willingly accepted. I hope, forum moderators will help me doing so and I would like to help anyone who has questions.

John. Can you guide me to a doc in Turkey that is ethical and achieves natural results please? And is in compliance with the IHRS. Hope its not too much to ask brother i appreciate it massively

I can't recommend him strongly enough. I think he creates some of the softest, most natural hairlines I've seen. I also admire Bisanga's hairline as well. Similar to Dr K's in their refinement. Between the two, for me it would come down to geography in relation to where I lived. That said, I can only comment on the experience I had with Dr. K, and you will like his hands-on approach. I don't think the guy ever sleeps. If you email him at 4am his time, it's not unusual to receive an immediate reply from him. He's incredibly responsive to all your questions and concerns.

Great respond since. You are a legend on this website. Thanks. Will look into these things

Well, you spoke to one of the best who also has a background in plastic surgery and got an honest response. Might want to consult with his partner, Dr. Nadimi. She also has a background in plastic surgery and isn't booked out as far in advance. I definitely wouldn't do the scalp reduction surgery. It's extreme and let's say you do recede in the future, then you have another scar to contend with.

Since. You’ve had HT’s with Dr K correct? If i was to get someone to correct my transplant and give me a more natural hairline, would u recommend Dr K? He is booked until March 2020 and I have researched for a year on this site, can’t find anyone that does better jobs at HT’s than Dr K and he can help me repair mine. What do u think

IMO I would consult with good plastic surgeons. Which is beyond the scope of a lot of knowledge in this forum and/or not most hair transplant doctors specialty. Because you’re not really doing a hair transplant at this point. And the main thing is skin appearance. Nadimi, like others said seems like a good idea to start with or atleast discuss with. But I’d discuss with others.

    Thank you!

Not sure what can be done about discoloration and pitting. I don't know where you're located but I would recommend a consultation with someone like Dr. Konior or Dr. Nadimi because they also have a background in plastic surgery. You might also want to consult a reputable dermatologist in your area. Whatever you decide to do, you'll want to take a very considered approach because you don't want to make it worse. If you want to permanently get rid of the hair, then laser will do that. But again, talk to a dermatologist or a top-notch hair restoration/plastic surgeon before you do that. Worst case after laser, you could use foundation to mask the discoloration and pitting. Most guys on this forum would kill for your head of hair, so using a little foundation would be a minor inconvenience.

Appreciate your detailed response, rly i do. I have spoken to Dr. Konior & yes i do want to get rid of the grafts. He said in order to do so they would have to do be excised and there wld be a tradeoff/risk of scarring. & if i was to get a corrective surgery he is currently booked until March 2020 :( Laser will kill the follicles and the grafts indeed, but I want to figure out what can be done to the skin first before I do so.

i do use foundation at the moment to cover the area, but it is still visible to be honest. I am thinking maybe a self tan cream to help correct the color of that area, something like this (attached below)

another option is possibly forehead reduction to cut that area of the skin, but I have seen pictures of the surgery and it looks scary & the thought of going through such a surgery looks scary, and usually after forehead reduction, there is a transplant along the hairline to cover the scar of the reduction.

In conclusion, I am just searching for solutions to cover the scar tissue developed in that area and make it looks as natural as possible. Thanks again really for your response, i love you haha 😆 💞

Who was the surgeon? They should be ashamed of themselves for performing the procedure on you. You didn't need it. Did he/she try to dissuade you from doing it?

I know. They really should have. They did not draw a new hairline or anything they just kind of did it.... no they did not dissuade me into not doing it they just told me you would prolly need more grafts in 5 years :(

Are some of the pics prior to plucking?

I think your hair looks good either way dude.

Plucked looks slightly better (a bit more masculine) but in the seemingly non-lucked pics i think it still looks really good.

If it bothers you lasering them out is probably best option.

Could also wait until you lose more hair and then have them transplanted to a better spot.

Yes brother some are with the transplants fully grown...

thanks im glad u think plucked looks slightly better 💞 i do not mind plucking them out, just trying to correct the scar tissue developed on the forehead you know?

Having these grafts moved to another place is not my concern. I know i cld remove them with laser or electrolysis or excision but for now im just plucking to keep testing if this is what i want, and in terms of the look of the hair and the naturalsness and all it is what i want. I just want to correct the color of the skin and make it look natural 😔 im thinking of getting a face self tan cream and apply it to that area to help make the color of it match the remainder of my face & not stand out.

just for the sake of curiosity @in2deep, do you have any pre-transplant pics? curious to know how it looked to see what made you go for surgery at 20 years of age. How many grafts did you get?

I dont know what made me go for it at the age of 20. I just thought i was receding and ended up  wanting to correct my hair line a little, the sound of gettin a little more hairs in my hairline sounded appealing at the time.. i dont have any pre op pics to be honest other than this one. Also a footballer under the name of fabregas got one and it looked good so i kinda wanted the same. I was stupid
