Yeah I was impressed with it the couple of months I used it for. Gave me a slight edge training and made me look slightly bulkier too. But it’s not a huge deal as you say, hair is much more important and not worth the risk. It’s a shame for such a popular supplement there’s not really any solid research regarding Creatine and hair loss.

Strange my clinic told me there is nothing wrong with creatine and no proven effects on the hair so i carried on using it for now.

For me it started always at 3 months and 2 weeks on every surgery, all 15 of them.

The only time it started a little sooner was when I used a Laser Cap (shows that it actually does something)

From that moment I would say it starts gradually improving. You will see a big change from month 5 to 6, this is very the biggest change happens and then another moderate change from month 6 to 8.

From month 8 to 10 you will see very modest changes but still thickening occurs.

Just let it grow for another 2 months and you'll see

From what time/month after your FUE did you start to use a laser cap?

  3. Oh dear lol, then I'm not sure I want to go to the party I'm supposed to if that is the heart of it. I was thinking this month, October would be the heart of it then towards the end of Oct it will start to settle down.

So is it realistic to say around January is the time I'll be in a position where personally feel more confident and not worried too much about my hair?

As a reminder my FUE was on Sept 3

(I know everyone is different, in my case it bothers me alot that's why I did it in the first place wheras alot of people where like it's not as bad as you think to me when I told them I'm going to do FUE)

  4. Thought I would do a little update, I'm at 5.5 weeks now since I had my FUE

    Health wise - all fine
I noticed there is still redness/soreness on my hairline, not sure why? Or if it's normal?
I think I am shedding, not sure how much - when i run my hand through my hair then a few come out, i do feel actually it's less this week then last
I noticed in my front of my hair some "gaps" appearing. Not sure if that is part of shedding or shock loss? That wasn't there before, you can see it in the pics

Otherwise I'm currently using 1mg Finastride daily
Nothing else (Though I am waiting for dutestride to come in the post and mesotherapy from FUECLINIC.COM so am keen to try those)

    Does this all look normal?
Do you think in around 1 month there will be better progress or it will be moreless the same? Asking due to some events or realistically I'll have to wait until January to have this filled in better?

  5. lol thanks Gatsby! Tbh I expected worse but in my case I had hair before I went into the FUE, but I can def see on the hairline and temple edges, you can see the patches and a little bit here and there for whatever is happening there.

When I do shower, it seems the dry skin on my scalp then gets wet and white and stays there. At first I thought it was shampoo residue, then as I saw it and rubbed I realized it's dry scalp skin. Why is that? I never had dandruff before in my life, so is this white stuff still dead skin regenerating and falling off? I thought that was only in the first 1-2 weeks that would happen

Wow 2 months is a long time :(
Seems like a few events I can't attend because there is a big party i really wanted to go to in 1 month and then in January is another big party I wanted to attend.

January might be ok as that would then be start of month 5

  6. Hey guys, today is exactly 5 weeks since I had my FUE.
Personal life, I'm back to normal. I go to the gym daily. When I go out I do wear a cap, that's basically just to the gym and then back home.

I do notice a bit of what I am guessing is shedding - nothing extreme yet. I can see little patches in my hairline which I am guessing is the shedding part.

I do not wash my hair everyday, I wash it every other day - still using the anti-dandruff shampoo the clinic gave me. Today my hair seems to have more dry scalp skin then I noticed it in the last week.

Does this look pretty normal for a post 5 week situation from where I started? Thanks!

  7. I'm exactly 5 weeks today and I feel I have alot of similarities to how yours looks too! I wasn't completely bald so mine's not as bad but I can see small areas of what I am assuming is shedding in my case.

I wash my hair once every other day, and when I do, I notice like dry white skin getting wet and sitting on my scalp. First I thought it was some shampoo residue but it seems to be some type wet skin flakes that appear then when it dries that disappears and then it gets tangled in the hair. At 5 weeks I still have also a little bit of redness around the hairline area

Yea I think the dye and shorter hair length blend to help give an overall fuller look. I'd give it another dye session and cut it to the same length for an accurate comparison. The dye is going to highlight and help make more visible all those hairs, from the thinner lighter colored 'vellus' hairs we have all over our body including the finer hairline and temple point areas, to the thinning terminal hairs, to the full terminal hairs that are not thinning. And the shorter length helps too because the vellus hairs don't grow as long as the terminal hairs.

wow your right i totally overlooked that, makes much more sense now!

but do you recommend i still apply minoxidil there and try also dermarolling there?

Blew up your linked picture and labeling. Were you using any hair dye to darken your grey hairs before? The pic on the right has almost no grey hairs. The thinner vellus hairs we all have that are almost invisible or cannot see except when real close up, along with the thicker grey hairs are going to be alot more visible when they are dyed black.

If you haven't been dying your hair and its suddenly greying, could be a sign of alot of stress, nutritional, sleep, etc issues, that could also cause thinning. If that's the case, fix the lifestyle and stress issues. Either way, this area is one of the more common places to thin out earlier than later. Minoxidil with microneedling can help you hang on to it as long as possible.

Ooooo yes I was dying my hair, since my FUE - 4.5 weeks now of course havn't died my hair.
So you think because of the color dye it looks more "full"?

If your before surgery pics of this area (which is your temple point) is thicker then it may be a result from shock loss. It will usually rectify itself over the next few months. Do you have any loss in the donor region, etc?

No nothing in the donor region at all - just suddenly discovered this today.

Here is a picture of that same side on August 4th, as you can see there it's not effected - https://www.dropbox.com/s/4z8tvhx00tgye20/IMG_1587.JPG?dl=0

So seems like a new thing, i don't know if it's related to the FUE I had on Sept 3rd

But saying that, they did they hair from my sides too, not sure if that was a full donor area

Are you referring to the temple point or the temple hairline?

No sorry maybe you are confused. I am referring to my SIDEBURNS.

See this part here I attached on my right of my head.
Then see the picture of my left side of my head which is perfectly normal.

It's pretty clear suddenly my right upper sideburns has got hit somewhere along the time. so my question is just if i can do anything about this.
I have no idea where this came from, i never noticed it until today.

Thanks @Gatsby! Can't say I'm feeling great leaving the house, but I do know it is temporary, Would anyone know at what month it would be safe to apply hair fibres? I'm considering growing my hair out this time around and start applying those. Also, JT did a review on Hairatin hair fibres and he swears by them and how realistic it looks even in the sun and at close distances. It's about triple the price Toppik, but I may still give it shot.

I just ordered Hairatin, will let you know my thoughts once tried out!

  13. Hey guys, had my first FUE to my hairline + templates around 5 weeks ago.

Just this morning I noticed something new, so my right side of my sideburns, upperpart is clearly thinning/losing it's har. I never noticed this before at all.

I don't know if it's related to my FUE post effects, if it could effect that?
My question is can I do anything to resolve this?
I took pics of both sides so you can see obvious different.

  14. Only for people who have had any sort of FUE - if you took creatine after having one say after the first 1-2 months of an FUE.

How was it? Was it ok? Or did you stop it because you were recommended not to?
My question is for the people that train, took creatine after having an FUE, within 1-2 months etc - and if you felt anything negative from it regarding your hair or if it didn't effect anything at all! Thanks

Wicked, cheers Melvin would be great to hear his take on it. I see some figures at the beginning of the YouTube video and kind of scared the life out of me regarding levels of DHT increase after 14 days on Creatine.

Hey Mr, what did you decide to do? Did you carry on taking Creatine all ok? Or did you drop it? Curious coz i had same question today

Just a cheap standard caffeine shampoo to be honest …. Because I want to see how the dut mesotherapy works out for the crown area …. Which may lead to less grafts being used … which then can be used to fill the front up even more if I choose to do so

Nice that is a smart approach for sure. Nothing better than trying to recover natural methods. I am going to do the same as you, I've ordered DUT MESO and when it arrives will focus on the crown so hopefully in 1 years time it's better and I won't need to feel I need to fill it in - or if it isn't then of course might have to!

  17. I'm noticing there are some product some people use consistently, i'm going to be writing a blog and article so wanted to do some research.

What is your go to haircare shampoo set, how often you use and why?
Eg. Is there something you use daily, or something you use twice a week etc

For example I think the most common I notice is Nizoral and people saying they use it twice a week.

    Thank you

Yep it will be very short and to the point …. I will clean my hair as normal … with caffeine shampoo… while doing this is will soak the derma roller in 70% alcohol to sterilise then rinse off with water …. I will only be derma rolling the native hair to regrow as much as possible before 2nd surgery! I wouldn’t advise derma rolling transplanted hair

Are you using Nizoral or another Caffeine one?
