  1. That would be very un professional in this circumstance. would you be happy if negligence was the cause to a poor result. going back to a clinic for a touch up by an unknown tech would be scary if they cant get it right first time round. asmed know what is going on. inexperience techs extracting grafts and planting with a dr rushing round from one room to the next.

clinic and dr have got complacent in the last couple of years.

  2. The results are not natural coming out of asmed. hairlines look fake af. payam has a point on how the clinic is operating.

asmed are now using microscopes to sort single grafts for hairline but wasnt using before when i had my procedure done. still have major concerns on how they place the graft angles to hairline just looks odd with root sticking straight up, nothing natural to it. i know you can achieve natural result, i seen good natural results from other surgeons.

hair restoration forum mods should be a little honest, its understandable if you getting referral fee or some sort of commision but when peoplee getting a un natural result you cant be ganging up on patient.

customer are also getting mislead when they see threads with dr erdogan 2500+ grafts it should be asmed 2500+ grafts. as dr erdogan is only doing incision with unknown techs doing surgery.

Can surgeones actually do anything about hair pointed in the right direction? Or is this just a hazard of the business?

If done right by the right surgeon. I would say a major hazard of the business. Seems like a lot of clinics/surgeons cant get this right from looking at results. People seem to over look at how angles are placed if they see new hair on the head.  If angles are placed wrong you will get a un natural looking result which will look botched.

My opinion stands until i see a solid result. I think Payam has every right to voice his concerns in this forum, people telling him otherwise should focus on their own results and wait to see a solid result themselves.

No clinic/surgeon should ignore patients concerns.

  4. Not seen a good Asmed result in a few years maybe longer theres not many if you look closely. Graft angles and density are major issues at Asmed. I agree with Payam if newly trained technicians are handling grafts and Dr Erdogan jumping from one room to the next or watching via cctv, how on earth you going to get a solid result. Patients are not in and out jobbys, they want a natural result. Would like to hear from someone on here who is a professional in this field to give an unbiased opinion on some of the results coming out of Asmed.

Also another bashing when hairline is drawn it is just a rounded curve, no thought on part sides, how patient is going to style for future, just a curve.

When you get a below par result you are screwed and have to rely on existing hair and fin to be able to cover bad low density  hair transplant.

I think their could be some confusion when incisions are made from dr and graft placing from techs.

  5. I'm trying to resolve things with Asmed. Its just taking time.

I dont see why its getting into a debate. Im sharing my experience, how my transplants has gone.

My hair has grown but in the wrong direction so hairs stick out also i have badly drawn hairline. Some will say its a successful hair transplant, to me it is certainly is not.

I didn't get this done to advertise hair transplants!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I went and saw a dr here in the uk to analyze my result. here is what he said -

    1. Punch out a number of double hair grafts in the hairline and use further back into the scalp.
    2. Add irregularity to hairline shape by placing single hairs through this area in front of hairline
    3. Add greater density through the existing transplanted area and further back in the scalp.

The hairline will never be 100% perfect as the angles of the existing hairs cannot be influenced as there are too many to be able to do this. Dr is confident of a significant improvement.

Fine single hair grafts are selected for the hairline transition area and the grafts area graduated in density for a soft natural look in the immediate hairline, with the density built up behind this area

If my result was that good why would i need to have a repair? i was supposed to have got 3000 grafts 70cm2.

Whats the point posting pics if they are not hd. You cant tell all these drs know that.

  7. Not sure why you getting all defensive? im just sharing my oppinion with the forum how my result turnt out. I truly believe its a bad result. I tried to stay positive and live with it but just cant anymore. My hair stands on my head, it doesnt flow with rest of hair. I have lots of multi hair grafts in my hairline going in the wrong direction and no softness to it. My hair looks un healthy. it just looks terrible. I did not pay to have a botched result.

  8. My hairline has been botched by erdogan. I have lots of double hair grafts in hairline and hair graft angles are all placed wrong. Hairline shape is unnatural and very poor standard also the density was very poor standard 3000 grafts (70cm2) more like 30cm2.  Lucky for me i have a very good donar and hair behind transplant (for the time being).

Dont expect any after care 18 months onwards from Asmed, they ignore all calls and emails or respond 1-2 weeks later occasionally. Very poor after care. They botch your hairline, make you wait 18 months then ignore you if you still unhappy with final result.

I could tell i had a botched job 4 months post op.

email from dr in uk to repair my hairline -

    1. Punch out a number of double hair grafts in the hairline and use further back into the scalp.
    2. Add irregularity to hairline shape by placing single hairs through this area in front of hairline
    3. Add greater density through the existing transplanted area and further back in the scalp.

  9. Tried so many times speaking with clinic, they give me delay responses (1-2 weeks) or they just ignore. Clinic are saying when i had my surgery they were not using microscopes at the time but now they are to sort the single fine calibre hair grafts.

Just really unhappy with how it is has turnt out. They have offered a touch up in january with no date but prefer to just have my money back have i got rights to get this back to pay for repair?
