Using haarklinikken product only after few months. The results look like my baseline when I had no treatments at all.
  2. maxgraft

On 5ml off Rogaine for a few years
  3. maxgraft

Baseline. No treatment of any sort on crown.
  4. 3,000 grafts FUT going down today. I’ll share some pics as time progresses on here. You can see a couple of my before pics in the harklinikken topic I posted a few months back but I’ll add some new ones on here. wish me luck!
  5. Alright, its time to provide my update. My first picture was me before I got off Kirkland Minoxidil 5ml once a day (while my hair was still wet usually). I used this product for about 10 years. I couldve probably done better with it and applied twice a day when my hair was still dry but I wasn't on top of my game as much as I should've been. Still on Minoxidil 5ml once a day with sub-optimal applicaiton: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/uploads_user/202000/201418/31510.jpg 4 months after being off minoxidil and not using anything. This is my baseline: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/uploads_user/202000/201418/31511.jpg Using Haarklinikken extract 3ml a day twice daily plus using their shampoo and conditioner and styling paste. 4 months of initial treatment at $594.81: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/uploads_user/202000/201418/31509.jpg There it is. Those are the results folks. I will be canceling my next appointment as they charge for every follow up. I suspect they are going to tell me that it looks significantly better. I do not see it. Hopefully this helps anyone looking to make a choice with Harklinikken
  6. They state that their extract will provide superior results vs minoxidil. The idea is that i know what minoxidil does for my hair already, then i compare to their extract, then if i think its worth it after 4 months, i may try both together
  7. He told me to get off for 4 months so I could compare his their treatment versus the minoxidil alone. He said some clients will use both to enhance results. Some of the pics on their site look rather compelling. I said i'd give it 4 months so i'll write up on it. At least this is my way of contributing to this community if it does or doesn't work I guess.
  8. Quick update...I was shedding like crazy the first 6 weeks, but it has finally stopped. No itching and i've worked this into my daily routine. I've maintained compliance very well. Their shampoo is actually pretty good and my hair feels pretty healthy. I haven't really been able to tell of any new growth but i suspect after all the shedding, around 150-200 hairs a day for 4-6 weeks, most of the new hairs are entering a new anagen phase and are still pretty small. The thought is that this will fight of dht by being absorbed into hair follicle but its suppose to be better than minoxidil and will hopefully come in thicker, darker, and more hairs per follicle. I wont post any pictures until I hit 4 months post starting harklinikken which is when I am suppose to start seeing the results. So in the first week of February I will show my picture before getting off minoxidil, then 4 months after getting off minoxidil and starting harklinikken treatment and then a picture 4 months after starting harklinikken treatment to see if there has been any true gain. We shall see...
  9. Yeah. He has a bunch of before and after. I was also told about it by a hair salon stylist who said some of her clients used them and that the results were awesome. They claim to get 30-60% hair density back but so far I’m going the other way lol
  10. So I just joined this place. I’ve researched a bunch of hair loss options from hair transplant FUE, FUT, neograft, Artas, I have even gone to a couple clinics to meet with the doctors. I was on minoxidal 5% for about 13 years after starting at 19 or so. I started using it well before I lost any hair as a preventative because my dad had thin hair and I figured it was only a matter of time. I only applied once a day at night. I’ve noticed that my hair has gotten worst over the last few years. A place called Harklinikken is near me so I went to check them out in my quest for a new treatment. I met with Lars, who is the founder, of this place. Apparently he started in Denmark and he brought it here some time ago. He isn’t a doctor but has a biochemistry background and he doesn’t disclose any ingredients because of competition but he claims it’s all natural ingredients (not sure what that means). Anyway, he has a system where you apply this extract twice within 20 minutes every day. A little bit of a pain in the a**, but not so bad that I wouldn’t try it. When I met with him he asked me to get off the minoxidil for 4 months before starting so I did. My hair loss got worst fast. This was the first time I ever saw what my hair really was without anything. My crown really thinned. Anyway, I went back to Lars a couple weeks ago and started using their system after this 4 month baseline period. I’ve been on it for 2 weeks and so far my hair loss looks to have gotten worst. Shedding like crazy. Apparently this can happen as weak hairs fallout and then it’s suppose to grow like a chia pet. I plan on trying it for 4 months and if it doesn’t work I’ll stop. It cost $95 a month. You have to use their shampoo and styling products which makes this kinda expensive. Fortunately I have short hair so I don’t need a lot of products. However the extract is that $95 a month I mentioned and that’s if you pick it up at the clinic, otherwise they charge for shipping and it’s over $100 a month. Sooo... I wanna make a decision within 4 months so I don’t spend all this money when FUE may just give better results in the long run and will probably be more economical. The first appointment was nearly $300 because of the products. Shampoo is like $60 or something and the hair paste is like $45 but it’s better to use all the products in the system is their mantra. Anyway, anyone else try this system? From looks of it, I may be the first in this place. I’ve heard good things but $100 a month plus having to by their shampoo and styling stuff is pricey and would be more economical hair transplant after like 8 years or something. Anyway, we shall see....
