  1. Lt I traveled a bit to Ahead Ink and I'm very glad I did. Erik is extremely reputable and professional. I believe there are so many clinics that come and go. Eric's work is undetectable and the he s as concerned as you with your procedure. I speak from experience of doing three sessions with him. Two on consecutive days and one more a month later. I believe he is one of three or four clinics that are simply the best in the world and the standard! Good luck
  2. Thank you David and thank you Erik I am very pleased with my results. If anyone is wondering about considering this process give Ahead Ink a call. I researched for a year before I decide to do this. Why Ahead Ink? Erik is trained and he's seasoned. Extremely knowledgable. One of the things I learned in this process is that everyone has different levels of scalp dryness or oil. This is not a one size fits all procedure. For instance I had extremely dry skin which caused an issue. Erik knew how to address this promptly and corrected this issue. It changed the way he went about my procedure. Diving home I wondered if a less seasoned technician would have addressed this or just gone on with procedure. I am very happy with my results. Erik is very reputable and its was obvious he was most interested in my results verses his wallet. Lots of integrity here plus he's a Yankee Fan. I am very pleased and I am surprised how seamless this transition was in regards to obtaining a natural look.
  3. Totally undetectable. Amazing, wish this was around 20 hrs ago. Again great work Erik.
  4. Hello all. I had hair transplant surgery about 20 yrs ago. Well it did look nice for about 5 years then I recceed back and after 3 transplants and spending over 15,000 it simply was not effective. I went back to wearing a hat. Then about 5 years ago I decided to shave my head and embrace a new look. That's really when I discovered the giant scars on the back of my head. Not that I could see them but everyone else could. So fast forward to the present. I decided to explore SMP. The whole process scared me. Putting permanent ink onto your scalp. What if it doesn't come out right or look unnatural. Then what? Then I discovered temporary smp or tricopigmentation. I discovered Melena Lardi Facebook in Italy. The work just looked natural. I decided to further investigate and even considered a trip to Italy! Then I discovered Ahead Ink in the New York City Area which utilizes the same technique and the owner was trained by Melena Lardi. I messaged Ahead Ink and did further research. I was pleased when I received a call from Eric. The difference to me was I did not recieve a call from a sales rep but the person who would do this procedure. In short, he's a pro. I decided to move forward and explained my biggest concern was not a full head of hair look but a completely natural look. I am very pleased with the results so far. I am going back in about 3 weeks for the last procedure. The first two are done on back to back days then you return a month or so later for final procedure. Honestly I am already pleased with my initial procedure results. Very natural and my giant scars are not so giant or unsightly anymore. I will report back after final procedure. I took off my hat!!! thats huge for me. Some of you guys know what I mean! From my experience dealing with Eric let me save anyone a lot of time. Just reach out to Ahead Ink. Not only is Erik fantastic at what he does he also helped me with some travel tips and even dropped me off at my hotel. I am not so sure I am comfortable putting a photo up but after the last procedure in a few weeks I will provide close up of hair area and scar area. Right now I could not be more pleased. When my 19 yr old daughter saw me she stared me down and then said dad I like the new look. It fits you. Believe me if something was wrong she would have told me. I work in an environment where if this did not look 100 percent real at least 50 people would immediately tell me so. Yesterday I walked into work and all I heard was hey you shaved your head. So glad I did this. I will report back after final procedure
