  1. 9 Month Update Not much new to report. I agree that at this point it's pretty much close to the final result, but I'm happy nonetheless. Again that's all that matters when one gets a procedure like this. There's a lot of variables (right dr, $$, post op care, etc) that go into this and to get a good result that you are happy with is the ultimate. I agree that a "touch up" would be beneficial, but at the same time I like how it looks, and that's all I care about.
  2. Any updates hitherehair? You've crossed the 8 month mark so hopefully you're looking great.
  3. 8.5 Month Update Skipped my 8 month update so here's my 8.5 month/36 week update. I don't notice any significant changes other than I've grown my hair longer. Just to be clear, I'm thrilled with my overall results. I can style my hair in ways I could only dream of before, which is a HUGE win for me, but there are still areas of thinness/baldness that I'm not fond of and also certain styles I can't pull off... yet. The first 4 months weren't fun (ugly duckling) but the following 4 months have been great. Here's hoping the final 4 months will be even better.
  4. 7 Month Post Op Photos I think things are coming along pretty well. I'm where I thought I'd be at 7 months. Good density and length, but still more to come.
  5. Looking great UKLad81!! I almost didn't recognize you under all that hair! I think during the next 6 months things will really come together. As you said you were in great hands.
  6. Thanks so much UKLad81 for the encouraging words! Wow, I remember when we started this journey and it's hard to believe we've come so far and you're right, we have a lot of good times to come!
  7. Thanks! I'm definitely patient and I think things are looking good so far. I'm just hoping for further improvement.
  8. hitherehair I agree and for the most part it takes close up pictures for me to see this.
  9. Posting more in depth photos to give a better look at the progress. It's definitely a slow process and could be better in some spots particularly the right side which was really bald before and the hairline is a bit too straight, but overall I can't complain as I have hair for the first time in 7 years. The main thing I learned is if you are happy with the results that's all that matters.
  10. At the halfway point and I'm feeling pretty good but at the same time when I take close up photos from the front there is noticeable thinness and patches of spottiness that I'm not thrilled with, but overall I'm pleased and thankful that I'm only halfway through. I also posted some pics from a few years back just to show how bad my hairline was:eek: and how far I've come:)
  11. Thanks! The donor area healed early on as I got an FUE. My hair is fairly long on the back and sides so it's hard to see but when cut short there are the pin hole scars. Nothing too bad. Thanks!
  12. Results are fairly solid and continue to get better. A lot less "stubble" sized hair, but still have the "see through" look when close up. For the first time in years I had to buy hair styling products:) Looking forward to month 6. Thoughts?
