  1. What’s the reason you prefer the topical over the pills?
  2. Ok great I’ll make an appt. Do you know if there are several brands for it or is it only one that everyone are using? thx
  3. Hi thank you. Can you please explain me how do I get it? Do I have to go to my dermatologist? Or is there another way? I saw some ads for “keep” and “Ro”. thank you
  4. Hi how do I get oral minoxidl? Is it from my hair transplant doctor or can I get it from a website or something?
  5. Hi how do I get oral minoxidl? Is it from my hair transplant doctor or can I get it from a website or something?
  6. I had 2 FUT with dr Bloxhame in the past 6 years. Now I’m looking to get my mid scalp and crown done via FUE and looking for a doctor, i heart konior is good but can anyone recommend more doctors for fue mid scalp/crown area? thx
  7. where can I get topical fin? Ive been searching it and I really dont know where
  8. Thank you but India is just too far. I rather stay in the US, I heard about DR konir in Chicago, true and dorin here in nyc, deip. Anyone else you think I should look into for crown fue work? I’ll travel anywhere within North America
  9. You know what? I don’t have pictures and I don’t even want to see my crown to be honest, I just know I’m thinning there and I put toppik for the crown but it’s becoming annoying and I really need to just go for my 3rd surgery, it’s time. Hair line and mid scalp behind it is good, don’t think I need to do anything there, really want the crown and top to be done. my last 2 surgeries was with dr bloxham but I think I want to change. im not on meds only minoxidil biotin
  10. Hi Melvin, thank you. I’ll reach out to him. I had 2 strips with dr bloxham, yes it was good but I wasn’t 100% satisfied, I’m not sure if it’s my hair lose that kept progressing or it’s the dr. My hair lose after the first surgery kept going so this is why after 2 years I came back to bloxham but he really just went over his work (like hairline and some more areas) and not new areas like crown so now I have good hairline (I would say) and ok first portion of the mid scalp but everything behind it starting to thin out. After the 2nd strip the dr said I have plenty of donor to use and he participate that my crown and sides will drop over the year and then I can go and do another surgery but I think I want to check out some other dr and I don’t mind traveling out of the state for example dr diep and dr Hans heinicke from Madrid, both doctors shows great crown results vs dr Bloxhame that shows OK results (not wow bot not bad) so really want to see what’s my options, what do you think?
  11. Hello, I had 2 strip surgeries with a well known Dr in Long Island, NY mainly for front and mid scalp (a bit in the crown) and now I want to do my crown but at this time via FUE (don’t want a wider scar then from what I have now). my question is, any good dr for fue that can also do some beard extraction in addition to the donor? My Long Island DR don’t do BHT at all
  12. Hello all, Who do you think is the best dr for crown transplant? Only in the US
  13. Can anyone recommend a good hairdresser in NYC that know how to deal with FUT scar?
  14. Does anybody knows a good hair dresser in NYC that know How to deal with the FUT scar? My hair dresser always afraid to go shorter and doesn’t know how to make it look good. He leaves it long along the scar and shorter above and below and just doesn’t look good. Thank you
  15. In your case I would do FUT since you want to maximize your results. Check Feller and Bloxham videos on youtube. I also wanted ONLY FUE but after doing research I found that FUT is the best approuch. My donor hair looks like nothing happened and you cant even see my scar. good luck
  16. Yup I 100% agree. Strip at Bloxham. Forget about everything else
  17. They use manual FUE and this is what you want. You dont want Neograft, ARTAS or any other machine. If its FUE the best is manual. Check link below
  18. Do yourself a favor and just go to Feller and Bloxham. Bosley will leave you with unnatural hair and big scar.
  19. Definitely FUT and you should go to Feller and Bloxham in Great neck NY
  20. I recently had a FUT procedure done with Dr. Bloxham. I was impressed with Dr. Bloxham even before I met him. I read a lot of his posts on this forum and contacted him via email for some advice. Even though I wasn’t his patient yet I felt that he dedicated as much time to me as if I were. We went back and forth via email for a while and he always provided great insight, guidance and knowledge. My communications with him never felt rushed, he never provided just a quick simple answer. His responses were always detailed and very informative. I finally booked a face-to-face consultation with him. I was even more impressed by him after meeting him. However, I felt that I owed it to myself to have consultations with other doctors before making a final decision. I noticed though that after every consultation I had with other doctors, it became clearer and clearer that Dr. Bloxham was the one. I kept comparing everyone to him and I didn’t feel like anyone else was as personable and knowledgeable as he was. I had made my choice. I had my FUT procedure in February 2017. Dr. Bloxham was 100% everything I expected and wanted. Furthermore, Dr. Bloxham employs amazing and skillful technicians. The combination of all this turned a very nerve-racking experience into a very comfortable stress free day. A week post op I sent a picture to Dr. Bloxham of something I noticed on my scalp. He couldn’t determine by just looking at the photo if it was something that was of concern. He wanted to do his due diligence and asked me to come in. He was thorough and showed interest; thankfully it ended up being nothing. This was very much appreciated. I obviously don’t have results to show yet, but I can vouch that my post op period wasn’t as bad as I see or read online. I know that is partially due to my pigmentation and genes but I also attest this to Dr. Bloxham’s skill and craft. Based on the videos and pictures of cases I’ve seen that Dr. Bloxham has performed, I’m excited to see what my results will look like in a few months. Without hesitation I believe Dr. Bloxham should be recommended as a HT expert. I actually already recommended him to someone that has already scheduled a HT with him! Best of luck Dr. Bloxham!! You have my vote!
  21. Speegs, Thank you for the info. I plan to play next Thursday which will be 5 weeks post op. Did you have FUT or FUE when you played after 6 weeks? If FUT, didn't you have some pain in donor when running?
  22. Thank you. Even before my HT I didn't use my head so I'll be very carful not to use my head now. It's really just a pick up game nothing aggressive. Thank you guys
  23. Hello, I'm just 1 month post op and wanted to know when is it safe to resume playing soccer? I play 2-3 times a week but not too aggressive soccer and really don't use my head at all. However, I do run a lot and fast (i.e., sprints). Is there any risk to the recipient or donor area? Please let me know. Thank you
  24. Yes it happened to me. Look at these pictures. At day 21 (morning) I had all my transplanted hair in the front. Then at night I took a shower and you can see day 22 in the morning the difference. That shower took about 75% of my transplanted hair. But that ok its aprt of the process. Now I can see my native hair coming back since Feller and Bloxham require shaving
