Hey Just Jax, were you worried at all that Dr.Erdogan wasn't gonna give you enough grafts? I'm booked in for my appointment in the next few weeks and I'm not gonna lie I'm slightly nervous that he's gonna recommend less grafts than I'd like to get. Does he ask you what look you're going for? Or does he just suggest what you should have done?

Oh perfect! I'm booked for February and he quoted me higher than I anticipated, which isn't a problem. I'm wondering if he maybe quotes higher when the consult is done online, either way thanks for the info!

Just Jax...was your initial quote (which I assume you did via email) for 2700 grafts? Or did the amount of grafts change once you had your in person consultation? I'm just curious as to how accurate his estimates are when you do them online.

The procedure itself doesn't worry me in the slightest. I'm a norwood 2 and Dr.Koray Erdogan recommended 3200 grafts. My main concern here is travelling to Turkey..as Far as I'm concerned his work is so amazing that i'd be willing to risk travelling there. I was just wanting to hear peoples person opinions first on how safe they felt. My plan when going there is to get picked up at the airport with the Asmed driver, goto the clinic, stay there, get the procedure done, and fly home the next day. I have no intentions on going on public transit or going to main tourist areas besides the airport. I just want to know if anyone ever felt unsafe to go at any time....thanks

I've had a consultation with Dr. Koray Erdogan and I'm really impressed with his work which is why he's the one I'm favoring. My only issue is I feel very nervous travelling to Turkey from Canada based on the recent terrorist attacks in Istanbul. Can anyone give me their experiences on how safe they felt travelling from abroad for their procedure Thanks a lot
