Another think I forgot to stress is that both strip and FUE utilize the same method of implantation. They only differ in the way the grafts are harvested.
I thought manual FUE usually gives far superior results than motorised FUE

You look fantastic and so much better than before the op steady progress indeed!
Really appreciate you taking the time and posting progress pictures, however, can you please include pictures of your donor area?
Thanks

Absolutely stunning, fantastic and life changing!!! I like the fact that Dr. Lupanzula is involved in almost every aspect of the procedure, and also uses a Manual Punch. Congratulations on your results, and i hope i get similar results one day
Would you please share the costs of the operation because i am struggling to find how my does Dr. Lupanzula charge per graft. Thanks.

Seems the "norm" in the industry is for the surgeon to do the graft removal and then the techs to do the subsequent graft placement.
In some cases with FUE at some clinics even the graft removal is done by techs (I believe Rahal has a dedicated graft remover technician for example).
The ones who do everything themselves (with perhaps some minor help in larger cases) are below. Feel free to add any I am missing. The reputation and results of these doctors speaks for itself.
1, Dr. Konior
2. Dr. Lorenzo
3. Dr. Keser
Dr. Nader appears to do most of the heavy work in the surgery and placement, with a tech doing the other side of the graft placement with Dr. Nader there close by based on patient reports on this forum (from aWindowsPeak)
Interesting, and thanks for the list
Do you recommend going to a clinic where the surgeon is involved in most of the operation or a technician driver clinic?

Looks great, and congratulations on your HT enjoy your results and happy growing
Do you mind if you tell us the cost of the operation, please? I have been looking for prices for Dr. Lupanzula for a while but i can't find any.

Congratulations on your results. Few more progress pics will be deeply appreciated

Is it normal if the Dr./surgeon does not do the implanting and only do the slits?
-
Can you upload some pics taken under light?
I second that. Can we get photos under good light please?

I'm glad Dr Bhatti decided to discuss your concerns about your frontal area, it does look thin. However, the rest of your scalp looks full and thick! congratulations!

I think it looks pretty good man! Funny how it took nearly 9 months of fear and anxiety before it started looking good! haha i think i've seen it happen with most patients, so i can tell there's a link between them. I am so glad that the transplant turned out fine after so many months of doubt and fear, and that's totally understandable and normal.
But to be honest, the transplanted area looks magnificent now without the hair fiber!!
Also, my advice is, if are going to apply the hair fiber, then stay away from the edges!! Otherwise it will start to look unnatural and fake, hence, defeating the purpose of the transplant
Enjoy your hair now

Any photos after 12 months please?

Hi Fito88,
Thanks for your concerns, I am actually in continuous dialogue with Paddy and he is aware that he is currently going through the 'ugly duckling' stage.
He just wanted to share his pics, there is no cause for concern. He is really looking forward to the upcoming changes now that he has those first 3 months out the way.
Hi Shera,
Thank you for replying and helping Paddy out. As i said, this is what to be expected from a top clinic!
By the way, i am after getting a FUE in india, and i have been searching around for a quality Dr. who is also affordable and not overly priced. I came across Dr. Bhatti's work and what i like the most about him and his team is that they are very responsive on forums and are helping their patients after the operation as much as before the operation. I can say that Dr. Bhatti's team is professional.
I was wondering if i can get a video consultation with someone from the clinic, if not Dr. Bhatti if he is available, to assess my situation and offer me a solution for my hairloss problem. Thanks

Hi fito88,
ASMED is a reputable clinic and Dr. Erdogan is a great doctor. The patient results you're referring to are indeed incredible. I went the FUT route but Erdogan was in my top 3 for FUE
The results in the link above are indeed incredible! Almost too good to be true!! I don't think this Dr. or any other HT Dr. can deliver results like these quiet often!
I have almost the same head as the before picture of that guy and i had a video consultation with Dr. Armani's clinic and i was told i needed 2500 + or - 500 grafts to fill in my temples and lower my hairline by 1 cm in total, they promised i will achieve 60-70 grafts/cm2 density after the operation. These promises were almost too good to be true to me and they sounded like a scam! luckily i saw a few posts on this forum warning people from this clinic, and how they are scam artists.
If Dr. Erdogan can deliver similar or close results like these on my head, then im more than read to pay extra and go for him for an FUE. But again, I wish but i highly doubt it..

here 3.5 months post op and last 2 photo are pre op look bit worse off at 3.5 months but bit better than were i was 2.5 months post op also see few hairs around the front that were not there before so hopefully things will only get better
Hi, First of all, let me congratulate you on the surgery and wish you the best.
These pictures clearly show that your hair looked denser and healthier before the op compared to after. However, from reading a lot about hair transplants, you should wait until 6-9 months after op in order to start seriously assessing the success of the surgery.
However, this does not mean that you shouldn't keep in touch with Dr. Bhatti and raise your concerns with him. Please keep providing with updated pictures so we can help you raising your concerns if it was clearly shown that the operation wasn't a success.
I do believe that "Shera" will be in contact with you the whole time until you are satisfied with the results. This is what to be expected from any HT top clinics in the world!

Hi,
First, let me thank you for sharing your pictures and your story with us. However, i am very confused. I had a look at your pictures, and i am sorry to say this, but your scalp still looks very thin and bald after 1000 days of transplanting 3643 grafts! Am I looking at the wrong pictures? please correct me if I am wrong.. If these are the final results of the transplant, then i am afraid to say that they look way below average..
Again, please correct me if i am wrong, or if i am looking at the wrong pictures..

Hi guys, thanks a lot for the input, much appreciated. I will take a look at those guys you mentioned KO. I think I've already accepted this is going to cost more than originally expected. Probably around 7000-9000 euros, I've been looking mostly at these:
Dr Erdogan (first choice but not at the cost of half my donor)
Dr Keser (great hairline work, does everything himself)
Dr Bisanga (over my budget but very well regarded)
Dr Lupanzula (seems new on the scene but great work - anyone know price)
Dr Ozgur
Dr Maras
I think I won't be able to narrow down this list properly until I receive graft quotes from clinics, but I don't intend on getting a HT for another 10 months at least so its a bit early for that I guess. Right now I think the graft count is more important than the cost. If Erdogan says I need 3200 and Bisanga says he can do it with 2000 I would go with Bisanga.
Here is an example of roughly where my hair is and what result I'm after. My hair is slightly less advanced than the before pic though, similar temple loss but my forelock is wider and stronger. I think I'm a strong NW2.5-3. I understand this is quite an exceptional result and not the norm. It's probably one of my favourites. The end result is how my hair looked before my temples started receding!
The results in the link you provided are almost impossible to believe. It looks like 2 completely different people! The hair's texture and thickness look completely different. This makes me worried about the legitimacy of this clinic...
I hope someone of the gurus on this forum can have a look at these pictures and confirm that it is possible to have these results with only 2800 grafts transplanted. I am norwood 3, exactly as the guy in the before pics, and if i can achieve these results with only 2800 grafts, then im willing to pay anything for this!

Unfortunately they don't look good at all. I'm sorry for what you had to go through, i deeply understand the frustration! Did Dr. Bhatti try to compensate you for it?
