  1. Im really hoping it is shockloss and not completely vaccuumcleaned dry there.. Who is this spex and where can I get a hold of him? Searched for members named spex but found none. A doctor abroad wont be able to prescribe for me in sweden or did you only refer to it as a means for input if it would be applyable in my case? We're quite limited in cosmetic surgeons in sweden and I dont know what kind of other doctor to turn to except the hair transplant surgeons..
  2. It is now 25 days post-op and I've met with a local hair surgeon the other day. I have probably been over-harvested in a round spot above and slighty behind my ears or hopefully experiencing shockloss in donor and it will come back (fingers crossed).. He thought it was over-harvested which sucks but had give it some time to see if it grows out to be sure. He also declined me med's saying it is too late for meds(?) Im 25 and sure I have an aggressive hairloss but to say I should have started at as early as 19 feels odd. The downsides to it is the risk of depression and becoming sterile. So he did not prescript me finasterid (so I could halt where its so obviously going from my perspective). He has faith in PRP 4 times in the next 6months (costs 4,3k euro for 1 session in sweden). However the first surgeon to say he's had a transplant in the front himself, I was quite impressed since I wouldn't had guessed it at all. He maintain his hair and had noticed alot of thickness from his own prp-treatment. Has anyone went their own way and ordered med online without going through a doctor? Is it really possible for regular PRP to slow down the loss that much while growing better as the only hair-treatment for afterwards?? Thanks for respons, why I'm concerned about meds like urgent is because now I can see how thin my crown has become since after my SMP and 0 cut period, could only feel stubble before and it looked fine with the SMP blend. Is it reversable? There are many fine hairs there but they have lost alot of colour and doesnt grow as much + 1000 (if they all are to grow) from the fue.
  3. That is very true I guess I was taken in the moment and the surgeon sounded very confident in being able to make a good looking dense hairline which i solely hope it grows into. I will start with some sort of medication, how much can only PRP help a man with male baldness? From what I've read finasterid is the only one Im very against using as of now, but I wouldn't start anything not documented to work either and live on the hopes alone. Does anyone have any tips on medicine to maintain what hair you've got that hasn't had saddening sideeffects, preferably from experience? Im mostly thinking about sex-oriented side effects (have no clue what other ones are horrible)
  4. My english seems to fail me in this case, what do you mean by doesnt give me leverage? Im very young only 25 and that's why I was baffled when he told me not to start using any medication, other than PRP that is.
  5. Hello! I have done SMP however I recently did my second HT because my first FUE left cobblestoning in the temples and it looked weird in certain lightning however when shaved to the bone noone would have noticed that it was not hair. They will ask you to shave as close as possible before coming so that they get the best colour contrast to what shaved hair looks like (its more grey than any other colour). If you however state that you want to have your hair longer than newly shaved I'm sure they can make the dots darker and even do it while you have your hair grown out. It might cost more and take more time though. I know that Sam at HisHairClinic in Sweden is serious and good (he did mine) but I dont want to advertise any 1 corp. Just don't go to a normal tattoo artists who'd say they can do it.
  6. So I shouldn't try to get rid of the dried blood more than I already have I take it? Yeah I noticed the pattern aswell but figured it would look nice when grown out and it only being a thing of notice now when there are scabs really visible. The clinic's name is Mcan Health (or McanHealth) it makes me a bit worried that there is not much to find in english about them when searching now, but some patients don't leave updates on forums and could be that they have mostly local turk's as patients. The supervisors name is Dr. V?ral and the specialist doing the donor and incisions name is Dr. G?ven. They lowered my hairline by roughly 2cm. Do you think this 2000 grafts can make a solid and dense hairline once its sprung? (given the yield is good). Having bad experiences from before makes one quite sceptical about anything really, especially when not having much to do but wait indoors.
  7. Hello I have recently come back from surgery in Turkey done Wednesday 17/8-16. Im planning on posting my pictures regulary for you to share your opinion and ease my mind if there is anything Im feeling anxious/uneasy about. Right now I have 3 questions, 1st During my flight there was a little bit of an accident with the 3rd security check guy touching my hat and making me bleed down on both my back and frontal area, which is now dried blood and Im too afraid to really clean it up without hurting my grafts, but I also know all blood needs to be cleaned up for no infections and good healing. Is it hurting my hair that there is this blood stain there? If so how do I get it off, its still there after 3-4 showers (1 a day) with special shampoo, but since I cant rub it doesnt come off. 2nd Im a little bit worried that my hairline got lowered maybe too much, because I've read so many times that you can't get a dense hairline in one session, or is that bogus? I'd love to be able to style my hair backwards/up without it looking unnatural and see-through. Something I've never been able to pull off in my life due to high forehead. 2000 grafts placed in my hairline (also old FUE of 800 in my former temples which was what I'd call a failed transplant.) It is now 5,5 cm to the middle of my eyebrows area from hairline. Which is not too low, but It would be if it comes out looking very thin and sparse. 3rd Does it look like I've been overharvested in my Donor area? It feels quite big but I'd guess its better to spread the area as much as possible. Im still having to concentrate on not going mad out of itching since no touching.. (might be lack of nicotine since I can't use my snus now for 1-2 weeks til wounds have healed.) Very thankful for answers! Also is it recommended to start any medications for future hairloss? My trichologist/hair surgeon recommended not to, and I'm quite afraid of losing my Libido as sideeffect.
