    What is used for pain during smp ? Do you have to shave your head before smp or can they fill in between (I have diffuse thinning and receding hairline)? Best places for smp ? Is it worth traveling out of town ?

    I would keep my hair short and probably with smp to give a fuller illusion. Thanks guys What doctors do you guys recomened ?

    Yes I agree some things money should not be a factor especially in this scenario because it will cost more to repair a botched ht.

    I know a couple doctors who have a good rep for bht Dr.umar and Dr.Bhatti. I prefer to stay in America is there any other known bht specialist doctors ? Dr.umar seems promising but that is some serious money.

    pkipling, thank you for the reply. Thats not what i want to hear but i am facing the truth and trying to learn to accept it. What you are saying is correct and wise. Im still in these stages of grief. Would body hair still be strange if i keep my hair short like a #3-4 ? My situation sucks and figured the only other options are body hair (which may not be wise for a hairline) or SMP.

    Hello everyone, I've been checking out this site for 2 years and wanted to thank everyone for the great info lots of facts, tips and opinions. I had a few consultations and one doctor actually said no after I paid and went in for surgery that morning. My donor area is very thin and my hair from my donor is not enough and fragile. I appreciate his honesty. Can I use body hair only for a hairtransplant and for my hairline (noticed doctors do not like that). I prefer to have my body and beard hair, it's very thick, course and I have more then plenty of it. Hair line is receding 3-4 inches and I have diffuse thinning, black hair and a weak donor area.
