No never dyed my hair.
I think it's just the lighting ... my hair colour has not changed. Maybe a few more greys

Your hair got significantly darker after going back on meds. Did you dye it? Also, the crown looks improved, was there any improvement at the hairline?
No never dyed my hair.

I think in your case your hair loss isn't extreme as some others. Some people have very sensitive levels towards DHT and can easily lose hair from even the smallest amounts of DHT.
I think in your case your hair is a little more resistant to some levels of DHT which could be why you are gaining some ground back. Nonetheless, this is very lucky and interesting to see.
Any future plans towards next steps?
Yes I have just had my 4th HT. My first FUE proceedure with Dr Ball at the Maitland Clinic (first class all thr way BTW). Here the link - I will be posting more pictures later if people are interested in my 12 shots etc.
Struggling with the decision to just buxz the lot or keep the hair on top longer whichg looks a biy wierd.

first I would say the answer to this depends on whether or not you’ve undergone FUE or FUT hair transplant surgery. With FUT, the donor area is more tender and fragile and any contact sports could potentially risk scar stretching, etc. With FUE, you don’t have that problem.
in my opinion, just use logic and discretion. Two weeks sounds logical with FUE and with FUT, you might need to wait a couple months if there’s any grabbing of the head, etc.
i’m not too familiar with that particular martial art so I don’t know how much grappling or contact to the head is involved. So just be careful and use your discretion in terms of contact, etc.
Best wishes,

FUE this time. The contact with the head is not striking - just escaping headlocks etc - more like wrestling.

I would wait until your grafts have fully shed. I would say 3-4 weeks should suffice.
Tahsnk for the advice! I had FUE this time and I am healing well.

Gatsby - you have always been one of the nicest people on this site and I'm just so thrilled you got what you deserved. Good things happen to good people and you are a great, couragous and generous human being. May your life be filled with joy and never another worry about hairloss.
I will raise a glass to you even though we have never met 🙏

Unbelievable - what a transformation - the density is incredible. Get's my vote 🙌🏻

I started on Proscar in 2002 (before Propecia was FDA approved) and progresed to Avodart over the years. In 2013 (or there abouts I stopped taking meds). This was due to reading some negative reports about its long term use and effiacy after prolonged use. I did not notice more shedding so thought I was fine.
The final picture is what happend after just 4-5 months back on it.
After nearly a decade off it - it kicked right back in to the point it's not even noticable.
And it's still getting thicker!- 1

Anyone got recommendations to help stay on back whilst sleeping. I am a side sleeper and will be rolling all over the place
By a wedge on Amazon - they are cheap and very comfortable. Then put your pillows to the side of you to stop you rolling - easy

That's a good point. In previous HTs I have not shed much but I think waiting for the shed phase to pass might be smart. When do they usually shed?
