  1. At 26 with a high of loss then meds should really be a serious consideration. You need a long term plan here. So a hairline that's going to set you up for life and not just the next decade. One of the issues with Eugenix is they can place hairlines too low. From the graft count they provided and knowing how they plan hairlines/temple points I wouldnt personally have them high up the list. Others may disagree.

I got respond from medispa hair transplant. Is it good? Quoted 4000 grafts based on pictures. May be they'll gor for 500 more. Gave me two choices. Combination of FUT+FUE/FUE. Any opinion regarding mg age(26)?

Medispa are recommended here, of course you can find the occasional not so great result, this is the same for every Dr. However there is no shortage of both patient/Clinic posted results to sift through and make you're own mind up. Check them out, but also consider other options. Never put all you're eggs in one basket... Keep looking until you find a Dr you feel will fit you're specific requirements.

They do like doing those combo hts, FUTs are not for everyone, If you wear you're hair longer like you mentioned then it's certainly a possibility.

It's highly debatable which method can give the higher amount of grafts. With pioneers like Zarev and Pitella they have proved they can pull out ridiculously high amounts just with FUE alone.

Dr Bisanga is another that does combo hts when needed/appropriate.

My colleague is actually a former patient of theirs.  He's happy with the results.  However, it does look like he had a transplant to a trained eye so not sure if that meets our standards.

The last thing anyone wants is for it to noticeable, trained eye or not people will notice if something seems "off"

If he's happy then great, maybe you could get him to share his result here on the forum.

  4. Ignore the social media aspect, look for actual real patient posted results (full 12 months) you will come up short as they are practically non existant. If you look far and wide you will see they don't actually have a good reputation at all.

I'm thinking of doing the HT after 6/7 months. Should i get on meds now?

No, i didn’t contact Medispa. I'm hearing this for the first time.

The decision to go on a med regime shouldn't be taken lightly. Some clinics would recommend it, talk to you're own GP/Dr if you're considering it. Hair loss for anyone is progressive. The pattern that's emerging for yourself is that it would most likely ultimely end up being a Norwood 6. You could negate that somewhat with a good med regime. Although it's still likely you're going to require more than one procedure, it's rare to be "one and done"

Keep getting quotes and doing as much research on each Dr/Clinic you're considering. Look far and wide too, not just here but on as many other platforms you can.

I'm not the biggest Eugenix fan tbh, for me they have had some poor planning cases and apart from the founding Drs the others are not actually forum recommended.

  6. I'm guessing that clinics are quoting in excess of 3k worth of grafts. It's going to vary depending on who the Dr/Clinic is and what you're own goals are. If you're aiming to cover as much as possible in one procedure then it's going to be anywhere upwards from the figure I mentioned. Really we can see a high Norwood pattern, but at present you still have a fair amount of hair that could potentially be saved. Do you have a med regime in place? It's going to be of benefit if so.

You're donor area from the pics looks to be dense, but with curly hair such as yours it can sometimes be deceiving. Have you got any pics where you're hair is much shorter?

    Eugenix.
I feel comfortably with there evaluation beeing only from photos so I dobnt know its not 100% befor meeting for IRL evaluation. But 3500 scalp and beard total is there guess.

Eugenix seem to be a lot more miss than hit these days. It also depends on which Dr you would be choosing. Look far and wide for the results for each. Some poorly planned cases seem to be a common theme with the lower tier Dr's.

Even with this poor planning after 5300 grafts this is not how it should look like after 7 months. I dont know how the result is looking now but if it stayed like this, i only see 600-800 grafts that actually took. I think the OP should give an update on this.

Oh yeah for sure the poor planning is one thing, the growth we can see so far is another. I just need to see the update really to comment further. I cant imagine their has been a wild improvement but let's see to make sure.

5k+ was never going to do the job, but the yield I am seeing isnt anything like that. We await with bated breath. Hopefully the Op can provide a update...

  9. For me it was another poorly planned case, I went back to read what the OPs expectation was. Here is what he wrote:

was very honest and realistic about my expectations, which was a coverage if possible and if not, just framing of the face at first and if possible a second surgery to fill out whatever. I had my initial consultation with Dr Sethi in London, at which point he provided encouraging words and said that they can easily do the surgery and that I have enough hair for a procedure actually (I was fairly surprised about tbh). So I booked through everything and finally done it.

So let's see what's happening now when he hopefully updates us. Personally I think another 2 procedures would be necessary and I'm not sure he has enough in reserve to facilitate that. I already see the donor area looking a little thinned.
