Hello. I am new so bear with me.
I am conscious of my hairline, which has matured to resemble my fathers and grandfathers. There is no other hair loss, and our hair is all the same texture and density. Mine may have reached this stage earlier in life due to HRT; it did change quickly when that first came about, and it's been like this for years now. Some might say this look ok, but it doesn't suit the rest of the way I look at all, plus (the main motivation) I now act and it is very obvious, especially on camera. To disguise it a little I use one of those keratin fibre powders on the hair around it to add more density to help when I dress it over the corners of the peak. I tend to have my hair long, changing that isn't something I want to do unless I need to for a job. I sort of don't want to have to think or worry about it any more so have discussed it with family and come to the conclusion that it's worth just sorting it out.
My questions are:
My research has led me to lean towards Lorenzo. Before I take the step into something like booking a consultation (do they do this online or in person?) I wondered if anyone recently has been to his clinic in Madrid (assuming I need to travel there to have it done), and could share any experience of the logistics, such as travel (method of), cost of travel, if they had to stay in a hotel, etc, etc. I don't often travel overseas. Does the clinic arrange or help with this? Thinking about overall costs & timings etc. I don't have enough money probably, but have supportive family wanting ballpark figures so we can try and work it out,and just be mentally prepared for what is to come.
Hair shaving - some people seem to shave their hair off, especially for major transplants, but for hairlines it doesn't always seem to be the case. Am I right?
And any other advice, information or experiences people might want to share that might be relevant will be gratefully received.
