  1. Point. I'm fairly pleased how unflattering I've managed to make the pictures! To be honest, if I was told that to do the job properly, and get the best result in all ways, I'd have the shave it all off, then I'd probably just do it.
  2. I've not got ultra dense hair but it's certianly nowhere near that in real life I assure you, I think I'd have noticed! It's not changed since it matured and went like this either. If they recommended adding more density to the top areas that's another thing but, harsh light through slightly damp light heir aside, it probably isn't necessary. The very front middle of my hair is a very sharp point, unlike those the classic balding patterns I see, 2 inches between that and my eyebrows, and 3 inches from my brows up to the back corners. It looks bad on me because I have a small face and features. I have the same hair as my father (60's) and grandfather (80's); not hugely dense but all there, very v-shaped and pointed (not rounded). I thought I was going nuts wondering why I'd got this particular 'mature' hairline until they actually showed me theirs, because their cuts are all short and de-exaggerate the mad werewolf hairline. This is why I need to have a consultation before I decide firmly on anything.
  3. Don't worry. What I meant wa, you didn't have to pay the hotel or anything else on top of that, except your flights?
  4. Thanks, reassuring. I was going to ask about costs, I have read something like the starting rate is 6 euro up to 1000, and it gets less thereafter. I don't think I'll need many as it's just corners of hairline. What comes on top of that?
  5. Thanks - yes I've done some looking. FUE I reckoned they could shave bits that would then be hidden under the rest of my hair and recover quickly; I've seen pictures of that. Hoping the cost isn't prohibitive.
  6. I wondered if there was any more info on the process and logistics, regarding contacting the clinic, consultation etc you could share, as I am thinking of doing the same. Do they help with travel and utting you up somewhere to stay? Or is it there and back same day? Did you fly there? It's not the process that worries me (I just have an iffy hairline I want sorting!) but more the complications of the rest!
  7. Hello. I am new so bear with me. I am conscious of my hairline, which has matured to resemble my fathers and grandfathers. There is no other hair loss, and our hair is all the same texture and density. Mine may have reached this stage earlier in life due to HRT; it did change quickly when that first came about, and it's been like this for years now. Some might say this look ok, but it doesn't suit the rest of the way I look at all, plus (the main motivation) I now act and it is very obvious, especially on camera. To disguise it a little I use one of those keratin fibre powders on the hair around it to add more density to help when I dress it over the corners of the peak. I tend to have my hair long, changing that isn't something I want to do unless I need to for a job. I sort of don't want to have to think or worry about it any more so have discussed it with family and come to the conclusion that it's worth just sorting it out. My questions are: My research has led me to lean towards Lorenzo. Before I take the step into something like booking a consultation (do they do this online or in person?) I wondered if anyone recently has been to his clinic in Madrid (assuming I need to travel there to have it done), and could share any experience of the logistics, such as travel (method of), cost of travel, if they had to stay in a hotel, etc, etc. I don't often travel overseas. Does the clinic arrange or help with this? Thinking about overall costs & timings etc. I don't have enough money probably, but have supportive family wanting ballpark figures so we can try and work it out,and just be mentally prepared for what is to come. Hair shaving - some people seem to shave their hair off, especially for major transplants, but for hairlines it doesn't always seem to be the case. Am I right? And any other advice, information or experiences people might want to share that might be relevant will be gratefully received.
