Thanks so much for posting, I'll follow your updates closely. I don't wanna be too hard on them because at the end of the day I insisted on unshaven when they did tell me I wouldn't get the density so I'll follow this and see how yours ends up and if it's decent I may go back and do unshaven as I did enjoy the clinic and it's reasonable re price. Really glad you're happy

Went for a mop chop today, gives an indication of progress.

Just an update after 9 months. Despite the posts, it might be a half decent HT. Just in terms of Tedsdead post. I was warned off a unshaved op by them in fairness so it's kinda my own fault in that regard. In terms of my donor area I don't know if that affects it?

Yeah that would be great. I'm planning on one around September so just around one month after the year mark, I'm hoping my sides will be enough, they weren't touched.

Thanks for the really good post. I'm quite despondent because I definitely need one more procedure. I wish I’d done more research and realised I’d be better doing FUT first. I just think the thought of a scar puts me off and think the healing process would be much harder. I’ll check out my options but fairly downhearted that I’ve been over-harvested.

I suppose time will tell, the next 4-6 months are vital. I think though as I’ve got in the habit of wearing a cap, I’m just going to do a shaved all over one next, you get more done and better density etc.

At 8 months now. Not sure if I'm happy or not. Unsure if I'm going to get the density I want and my donor doesn't look great.

Are they expensive?

I got a FUE transplant in August last year and am making progress on top and am looking to do the second one to cover the second part of the head (the back part). I had to send photos of my donor area to a the people who are doing the second transplant later in the year and it’s the first time in a while I’ve looked at my donor area. It seems very bare to me and just sent the pictures to them there and am worries that’s me done, which would be awful. Attached some pictures there for people to view for opinions.

Hi Ted, I never used minoxidil before the procedure but they did recommend using it and said to wait a week, not sure there would be much issue with it the day before tbh. Attached some pictures there from today after the morning shower, seems to be making progress.

7 months now. Slightly more filled out.

Looking at month three to this now to month six I'd say definite progress

Another one just taken there. I'm happy enough, just probably like most I'm impatient for to see better results. There's lot of hairs there that don't seem to be growing quick enough, you can see them there. If they grow I can see decent coverage. I'll admit I wish I just went for the shaved option and got more done. Next one to do the back I'm gonna go shaved to get as much done as possible. People have got used to me in a cap so I'll get away with it

Got a hair cut that shows the progress so far better.

Pretty much 6 month update. Hopefully progressing as it should, not 100% sure but every month there's a difference.
