  1. I had mine 2 weeks ago and still feel sore in the donor area, it's a slow process. Still don't have full feeling yet in the donor and recipient area, this will come back eventually. The first week post op was really tough not being able to sleep The dry scabs / crusts will all fall off around the 10 day mark You just have to accept this is all part of the healing and is a slow process but perfectly normal
  2. You have to stay the extra day for a check up by the clinic, to make sure there is no adverse reactions, thats when they give you all the after care treatments Some people, like me, can still be bleeding badly. They need to ensure that is under control before letting you go. I don't think they can send people to the airport while blood is still pouring out
  3. I had my HT at Dr Yaman on 23 JUne. They give you special shampoo and foam application but they are both 100ml so it's fine. They also give some medicine and quite a few multivitamins but they know they are your treatment as you will stand out at the airport with your head bandage. I only travlled with a rucksack so was able to take everything on the plane. I Flew home the day after which I regret slightly as my head was still bleeding, would rather staryed 1 or 2 more days then you shouldn't have a bandage as the bleeding should have stopped
  4. Does it meet your expectations? Do you feel much better and happy with the result Looks to me like iike has grown through well
  5. Thanks BeHappy, that's very reassuring. Paitence is a virtue 🙂
  6. Hi everyone, my first subject post despite being and avid viewer of this forum for years! I had my HT last Friday in Istanbul, I may share my experience on a seperate thread, and now on day 4 post op I feel my body has reacted badly to the HT and wondered if anyone had similar experiences? Firstly I was very nervous / anxious so did not sleep well 2 days before the op, then on the day as you know it is a long very tiring day, at the end if it all you want to do is sleep which is one thing you can't do ! on morning of day 3 post op my head really swelled up, my eyes were quite puffy. today I have 1 black eye and around the recipient area seems like bruising - very yellowy. My wife says I look like i've been beaten up ! and I do ! The frustration of virtually no sleep for almost a week is very unpleasant, i'm on the sofa otherwise I will keep waking her up. I'm one of those people who find it hard to sleep unless very confortable in bed, i.e. I can't sleep on a chair or on a flight. I'm not too worried about it as everybody's body is different and I guess mine is a bit sensitive. Can't wait for day 10 and return to a bit of normality. I just wondered if anyone else had similar reactions as i don't notice any similar experiences from the reviews? Or am I just being a big baby ? 😀
  7. I'm having my HT 3 weeks from now, if I ended up with that result i'd be over the moon
  8. I had my personal consultation on 21st Oct Very impressed with the clinic, the staff, everything, met Dr Koray. I had complete piece of mind from my visit and they were not pushy about booking for surgery which I expected. Although I haven't visited any other places I think you'd be hard pressed to find such a more professional place dedicated to hair transplant. Just deciding when to get mine done!
