That's what I'm nervous/scared about! The shedding. Has there been cases where not many of the transplanted hairs fall?

The shed looks like it' starting. Hang in there, it's a long, slow road.... This is going to be a great result. I'm looking forward to seeing updates.

You've healed at a really fast rate. There is very little redness, even after only 2 weeks.

Nice job. The size of the donor holes are still concerning though.

Unless you are prepared to go overseas, the prices in the UK are generally higher. You could try some negotiation, but i doubt the margins are going to move much.

Also I agree your 8-month and 10-month pics look much denser.

Did you lose some of the transplanted hair?

I definitely think the yield on the right side has not been as good as the left. One thing i have noticed is the hair is very wiry and has a mind of its own. I'm happy with the cosmetic improvement and that i can style it better, even though the density isn't what i expected it. I'll give to the 18 month mark, as suggested, to see if there is a difference.

Not sure if i lost transplanted hair, or could have possible gone through a shed cycle..:confused:

Lipogaine minoxidil is brilliant, for me anyway. Use matching Toppik fibres for density. They're fantastic for giving the illusion of a full head of hair.

I had sides on fin, so had to stop it.

Did you have a shed of hair on the Rogaine then stopped? From experience, you tend to lose a lot of hair a few weeks after starting, before it thickens up again..

Your baldness level would be described as severe, for a 27 year old . He did well getting that amount of grafts from your donor area. Are you taking meds as well? Hopefully you will get a good cosmetic improvement.

You're obviously a fast healer. Aloe vera is very good to use. Redness has reduced dramatically .

Very impressive. Although, requiring 3 sessions every 1.5 to 3 years as touch up, surely a hair transplant would be a more financially viable option long term?:confused:

Is there a reason, standard, permanent tattoo ink isn't used?

By day 7 your donor will be well healed. Scabs should be coming off by days 7-10. Then the shed and the awful wait for regrowth...

A buzz down would be good. :D That's the growth started. Anything you do now will not have any impact on the recipient area.

Apart from the fin, I wouldn't worry about spraying the grafts or a neck pillow now. They are well rooted in and will probably be all shed in the next few weeks. Everything looks good from a healing perspective.

Difficult to tell, as you may have shed some hair already. The hair does look quite sparse, but you'll know for sure in a year or so time.

If that is your entire procedure, over two temples, it doesn't look like 4800 hairs..

While I don't think this guy needed any work, it's down to the individuals perception of themselves. If it improves his confidence and appearance, it's money well spent.

Very neat work. I'm amazed at how some surgeons can leave the head very neat and clean, while some others look very messy post op.

Better higher, than too low and you end up with advanced baldness and a low, permanent hairline. I think when it starts growing in, you'll appreciate the design, as well as when you get older.

You can always have it lowered with a second procedure, if you're not happy with this result.

Get Lipogaine minoxidil. The applicator cuts through your hair and you can apply it directly to the scalp. I've tried them all, kirkland, rogaine, generics and lipogaine is definitely the best and easiest to apply.

This is the crap stage. Months of limbo. This is going to be a great result. Keep us posted with progress.

Although this is a good result, i'm concerned at the visibility of the punch holes in the donor area, particularly at the sides. My surgery was performed with a .8mm punch and the scarring is nowhere near as obvious.

This happened with me as grafts were apparently popping out. I also heard him saying about "good density "..

My right side is still not great but I'm happy with the general improvement. It's not quite like an erdogan result, but it's not bad.
