Sorry, i have to ask him before i post some other pics.
Density should be around 20-30FUS/cm2 (i think)

Hey guys!
My friend had a FUE hairtrasplant nearly one year ago.
His result is very poor in my opinion, because the density is way to less.
We made pictures from his forehead yesterday, so you can get an idea.
His doc was an all inclusive doc in turkey...
If u know what i mean.
I plan a HT to, my total bald area is ~100cm2.
But the result of my friend... Im a little bit afraid i can get the same thing to be honest.
So his main question is:
How dense is it so what do you think from the pics?
He had ~1400 Grafts.
All the beste

Looks good for 6 months.
But i think it would be better to show this pics with 12 months pics.
Because 6months... You cant really talk about a result, especially in the crown.
-
Very natural result.
How dense was the graftplacing in the transplanted area?
All the best
-
Very soft and natural result (8months only)
I think the fact, that the patient is blonde, is good for him because of the scalp hair contrast.
How dense is it in the hairline? I would think between 40-45FUs/cm2
Am i wrong?
All the best

FUE test?
Whats that?

I think that this isnt one of your best results. Its still very diffuse, but the hairline is nice and the area with 200cm2 was very big too..
-
Let your hair grow a little bit longer in the back and i think the area in the picture with the circledraw will vanish
-
Wow... Thats a very big area ..
I think its a natural looking result.
-
Hey doc!
Can you tell us the exact balding area (cm2)
Thanks

Dr. Diep...
Is this really a fine hair caliber?
I cant believe this...
Or is it just so dense packed?
-
This is fine hair?
It looks like the total opposite.

thats just not enough grafts to cover a NW6 and the blepharoplasty makes his HT look better cause it makes his face look more youthful. looks a lot better tho which I guess is the whole point. wud jus look best with another 3000 grafts if not more.
he still has the hairline of a guy in his mid 50's so imo it really didn't accomplish the goal.
Thats the point.
So why so less grafts (in 2 OPs) ?

In myopinion... Its defintely not dense enough. It looks like a density of maybe 30FUs/cm2..

Dr. Bernstein,
I have a question.
How much density would this patient need for full coverage even with hair styled straight to the back? I mean which density per cm2.
Thanks!

Hey guys!
I have a question.
Im taking Finasterid for 1 1/2 year now.
Im a diffus thinner from hairline to vertex.
The problem zone is only the top of my head. This area is ~120cm2.
I had a transplant a year ago with 1300 grafts for a area around 50cm2 i think.
So thats a density of 26FUs/cm2. It looks okay but very thin. Is that normal with a density of 26Fus/cm2 and fine hair? I think so..
For the whole area i think i will need around 4500 grafts for e nice result. Midscalp and crown there is a density of my natural hair between 20-25Fus/cm2 and it seems, that Finasterid can safe this hair.
So an a total bald area 4500Grafts to a area with the size of 120cm2 gives a density of 37 which would be 'well'
But plus the 1300 grafts in the first operation and the rest density of my natural hair i should expect a density over 50Grafts/cm2 and denser in the frontal region.
In my donor area there is a density of 80 FUs/cm2
So i can get nearly 70% density of my original density back.
That should be enough or what are you thinking?
Sorry for my hortible english. Its not my motherlanguage.
All the best!
I hope for replies!
-
Retograd? You mean, your donor is also thinning?
If you mean only your neck hairline.. I know so many NW1 with a receding neck hairline^^
So thats just not a real problem only for alopecia sufferers .

Nice result!
How big was the are where the grafts were transplanted?
All the best
-
But its veeeeery thin lookin..
Thats not naturally.. Its simply not dense enough
-
The frontal hairline looks very nice.
But the midscalp looks not very dense..
Thats maybe a 35-40Fus/cm2 density..
FUE Transplant which density is this?

Would be nice if more people could response.
Maybe it is impossible to get a good result with such a small number of grafts for a relative big area. (The frontal third was the transplanted area)
Especially because i plan a transplant with Erdogan or ?zgur.
And the result of my friend is... Not very motivating for me.
Now im very insecure.
I think i will need around 3000-4000 Grafts.
Again, the posted pic here is not my head.
Thanks
