  1. Hey guys

Just a small unplaned update because im a bit worried at this time.

As you all know ugly duckling is a very hard and endless seeming time.

So some support right now would be great^^

I will pay back with updates.

The problem is i cant imagine how it will look in lets say 5 months from now.

Im 1 week over 2 months so very early on..

But when i look in the mirror it always look the same.

Some new hairs here and there (look at the pics) and some hair grow directly after the transplant so theyre 2cm long now..

So some kind words would be great and some honest oppinions :P

    All the best

  2. Hey guys!

    Grow is continuing :)

    So thats good.

    But im very unpatient :P

I try to relay myself and forget the procedure..

But thats not that easy as you all know :P

    One pic is attached.

The front grows 'faster and better'.

I dont know if this is normal.

But the structure in front and midscalt is very different.

Front feels thick, midscalp more thin...

    Is it normal?

    All the best

  3. Hey guys, whats up? :::C

I had MY hairtransplant 1 1/2 Months ago and i already see some growth and New hair is coming Which hopefully means i`m a fast grower and the ugly duckling phase is over as fast as possible.

I had a 'bad' hairtransplant with another Clinic 1300 FUT grafts.. Bad because 1300 grafts per FUT is an absolutely waste of time and skin. Dr. koray said that nearly all the 1300 grafts grew out, so this is good, but the density was way to low (20FUs/cm2). So Dr. koray did an FUE with 4500 grafts for me and the transplanted area was 120cm2 big.

MY crown left untouched, because i wanna have the density to be satisfied with and in the crown is some hair left and ITS not a bald crown at all, so with Dermmatch and Toppik i can cover it pretty easily.. And when i want i can go for a last procedure and fill the crown in later on..

    Some infos on MY hair:

    Micron: 50Donor density: 83FU/cm2Hair/FU: 2,36

All in all i felt well from day one to the last day at the Clinic an Dr. koray said, that i will be very satisfied with my result.I hope so too :)

You can take a look at my pictures and it would be great if you can give me your oppinions on the work done.I will Update this every month.

Edit: I had a natural density in the recipient of 15FUs/cm2 and im on Finasteride since 1,5 years. NO miniaturization in the donor area.

    All the best :).

  4. Hey guys!

5 weeks ago i had my transplant with a recommended doc on the forum 4500 FUE grafts.

Had a transplant before with 1300 grafts so all in all 5800 grafts.

The 1300 from 1 procedure grow well but the density overall was very bad.

So i got 5800 grafts in 120cm2 bald area. 2,36 hair per FU.

I have native density in the recipienr 15FUs/cm2.

So this time the density should be fine if all grows well.

    I have one question:

In my frontal third the hair is thicker and stronger then in the midscalp.

Thats where i got my transplant.

So the hair in the front (i think 30%grow and 70% fall out) is already at the thickness that my donor hair is. My transplants in the midscalp are waaaay softer but at the same lenght. Is this normal?

I know 1 month post op there is nothing i should worry about but that is on my mind.

    Hope u can help.

    All the best

  5. Hey guys! :)

Ive read a very interesting article on Shapiros website about the 50% density theory and the density someone need rang from 40%-60%.

What do you think about that?

    Is it true?

So if someone with a pre existing density of 80FUs need only 40FUs per cm2 to look dense.

    Is this true?

    All the best

  6. Over 4000 grafts is a lot of hair (!)

And in my opinion it looks not like a solid 6 month result. The density is absolutely not enough.. I can see scalp everywhere..

But maybe the goal of this patient is coverage all over and not good coverage in the front and midscalp and less in the crown..

Only 6 months now.. (50% is done)

Im very interested in what this story turns out.

    To the TE:

Your donor hair seems very fine.

U know the micron of your hair?

    All the best

  7. Thanks for your help!

So i have some more pics now.

I would say im NW 5 with natural existing hair but maybe 10-15FUs/cm2 on top of my head (only the natural hair)

The transplant itself worked on 55cm2 with 1400 Grafts. The area before was not completely bald, but very thin.

The pics are with wet hair (its hot today) and i wear a hat all the time before i take the pics.

I think my area is for NW 5 'very small' if you can see in the "bird perspective picture"

    Between 110-120FUs/cm2.

If my hair is washed, you can clearly see a very dense donor area and a bald top of my head.

    So what should i do..

Dr Koray Erdogan said, that i will need around 4500 grafts for a solid result if i stay on the meds. What do you think 4500 Grafts could give me...

    Is it worth it?

How dense should the second hair transplant be to male a visible change? For me, the frontal part is the priority. But i want to treat the crown with the 4500 Grafts to.

My density in the donor area is 85Fus/cm2.

    Thanks for all your comments!
