My perception of the density varies. Most days are like "wow this is so cool". Few days are like "oh ma ma"! Maybe I am too critical. But when I look back at the old day pictures I am reminded of the past and thankful for the opportunity that exists and grateful in silent prayer that I have the means now to accomplish it.

Castletron thanks for your feedback. I don't have another pic of my hair in its previous full g(l)ory!! I took this pic before the HT. I always felt depressed before that to take a picture of my see through scalp.

From where I started......

I am close to 11 months now. From 6-11 months I just felt the hair quality improved. I have a hairline now. Density is low'ish and is apparent on strong sun light.

My wife and friends (who don't know why - attribute it to my weight loss, as I have hit the gym) say I look much younger. Overall I feel more comfortable now and am happy with the first transplant. I have never grown my hair long, as I always liked short hair.

I am heading to the second transplant with Dr. Diep shortly to address some of the front and more of mid scalp.

Thank you for everyone's input. In the end it is just a leap of faith. Although I prefer it was tangible and transparent. Some system should be put in place universally. Probably as Dr Vories mentioned in a similar post - photo documention after the end of extraction.

Is there some way to ask the surgeon for a proof that the number of grafts that was estimated was implanted without sounding obtrusive?

I would not want to piss him off but I would also like to know I get what I paid for...

Any thought ... any suggestions .... would be much appreciated!

For that amount of grafts and your level of hair loss should expect killer results

The donor will heal quickly and feel untouched.

Excellent dream results. Your post op care is different from what Dr Diep's paperwork details. I guess modified- but makes sense. I am going for my second session this month. The first framed my face well but it lacks density. Do you have any advise for second round. Did your first hair transplant suffer any consequences from the second. It does not look like it in the pictures.

Is this a flight of imagination. How will anesthesia stun hair growth!! It affects brain receptors.

I will at 9 months. It is continuing to improve in. Mainly maturing and also feel some new stubbles or maybe a figment of my imagination. I am growing it out now as you suggested. How about you HTsoon. What's your update...

On FaceTime Dr. appeared visibly pleased with the growth. He wanted to fine tune and improve the overall aesthetics in the next HT. He guestimated 2000 grafts.

I have set up an FUE second session with Dr. Diep; in a few months, to increased density and coverage. Hopefully it will go well.

Looks as if on target. I may have had a tad more growth in similar time. Would you give more details into your experience and feedback of the surgeon and what you feel you may have done differently.
