  1. Hi Jhodapp, I use all three at the same time, plus Tricomin. I actually use Avodart instead of Propecia. I just added Alpecin Caffeine (not the shampoo, but rather the topical) as well. If budget is not an issue I would do everything plus the transplant, as I have. I have had 3 transplants in total (my first one in 2003 didn't have a good result), bummer! 6000 grafts total. The transplants will be the major difference maker for you. Night and day difference, but also the most expensive by far. For me, the other items I don't believe have any grown any new hair (except the Theradome may have grown a nominal amount)...The combination of everything has only helped slow the process of losing hair down. So you need decide what stage you're in and what's important to you. If you don't get a transplant and try everything else you will probably continue to lose hair but at a much slower rate. Maybe you'll get lucky and it'll halt your hairloss altogether, but it didn't do that for me. For me, the hair transplants have been the life changer. Feel free to send me a private message and ask more questions!
  2. I've been using mine for about 2 years, and the health of my hair has improved. Some vellus hairs might have improved just barely and I may have had a few new hairs or they could just thickening of some hairs. But it is a very very minor number. Maybe less than 10 shafts at most that "appear" new. I still use it 3 times a week since who knows...maybe it helps slow further hair loss down, or keeps very weak follicles on the verge of going bald to hang around as long as possible. I bought mine used on Ebay so I saved a hundred bucks or so. I don't regret my decision, but just keep your expectations very low and hope you get better results than most.
  3. I got a HT from a well known NY Coalition Doc in mid Jan. and when I asked whether I can use my Theradome post HT he said "sure, it may help with the healing." But that was it, nothing about enhancing results, etc...It was one of those couldn't hurt and might benefit type answers.
  4. Can anyone confirm this? I just bought a bottle from Amazon and it is not listed on the back of ingredients. It is still listed on their website, but I wonder if that's just outdated. No one in their Customer Service has gotten back to me. Thanks everyone!
  5. Hi, Does anyone know if superficial chemical peels are safe after a HT? Something like the Vitalize Peel from SkinMedica? Treatments by SkinMedica - Vitalize Peel® :: Serious Skin Care Products The solution is applied all over the face, and stops right before the hairline. The skin then peels in a spotty way and various areas, but often into the edge of the Hairline. My concern in possible irritation to the grafts. I have seen no literature/threads on this topic. Questions I would love to see discussion are: 1. Would it affect the grafts? The facial skin is essentially micro-damaged in order to repair itself with better skin. I just wonder how much affects the scalp. 2. At one point would it be considered safe to do the Peel? 3. I feel the answers will vary on this, and if a Doc answers their answer may vary depending on if they have a Dermatology background. 4. Would it affect growth long term and overall results of the HT? Thanks everyone!
  6. Hi Cautiouslyconsidering, Which Doctor did you end up going with? I know you considered True & Dorin, did you ever consider Dr. Wesley? Did you consider a PRP enhanced HT? Thanks!
