  1. Who was the surgeon who performed the procedure for Longevita?

    Hi guys,

I had a hair transplant with Longevita in January 2012, I am really disappointed with the results, you can view my full results under the following week, I'm not sure if i'm allowed to post a link to another forum on here, as i've only just joined here to alert people of my experience.

    (Promotional link removed)

I have reported my concern with Longevita, and they have offered corrective surgery free of charge, but I am not prepared to pay for flights and accomodation, and risk losing more donor hair for a poor low yielding result, if they couldn't get it right the first time, why give them a second chance.

Anyway, I intend to wait the full 18 months for the full cosmetic result of this transplant, which will be July/August 2013 before taking any action.

I have had opinions from forum members and representatives of other clinics and they all sugguest that i have received considerably less than the 2,400 FUE that i paid for. In a way it is for the best, as they haven't wasted less of my donor area.

So poor results, overharvesting on one side as I have to comb over to look like i have adequate coverage by my ear, procedure WASN'T performed by Dr Enis Keskin as promised, Instead by a younger inexperienced girl who has left me with sparse wirey hair. I have asked longevita and my patient representative at the time, who was the surgery performed by and haven't got a response.

I have documented evidence of all e-mails, skype call with surgeon, and lots of pictures, It is might intention to seek compensation or some kind of refund on the basis of...

Transplant not as promised, results speak for themselves

Procedure not performed by Dr Enis Keskin

Overharvesting of certain areas that has left me patchy on the side

    Emotional distress.

Skintaj... are you going to take action?

  2. Early days really to comment, but brilliant that you've been so proactive to go & have the surgery (that alone 'I think' takes 'a lot' of bottle and conviction!) and with everyone here who has gone through surgery, it shows people who are prepared to go out there and take control & make changes.

Looking forward to hearing a full report on the journey and the service you received and an idea of cost too. Again good luck over the coming year!

  3. Thankyou for all of this as it helps me make a more informed decision. I am looking towards Turkey for treatment (balance of geography, skill and cost). Just been in touch with Longevita via online chat with a CSR there. I have 'lingering' doubts following the conversation and also from reading feedback on the forum here from clients who have had procedures in Turkey with Longevita. Jury's out on this one right now. Regards, Campbell.

  4. This has thrown me into a quandry. I've just been in contact with LONGEVITA (One of their customer service reps via internet chat), and I finished rather disconcerted (maybe there was a language barrier but the girl said she was from London).

Anyway, same offer as the chap above came through. 1650 Euros for AS MANY GRAFTS as can be harvested in one session. Girl said this could take up to 8 hours. Includes the PRP Plasma to aid recovery, your accomodation (at this price it was in the hospital but with all meals..etc) and flights from anywhere in the UK.

If it looks like it's TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, then often it is (my Dad used to quip). I asked 'standard' questions about where the surgeon would be during the procedure (doing it? or nearby with assistants doing it?). How would they assess my needs, my hairline..etc.

What was their idea of the maximum grafts? 5000 IN ONE GO - says 'she.' I say...'I don't think so!' Due to the head trauma and implants not taking properly. But YES...5000 she confirmed.

I was also advised that it I opted for THE PROFESSOR then he/she was more experienced with better results. So of course I asked..." Well what results am I likely to get if it's done by one of the other surgeons on your list?" No answer.

She said it was A GREAT DEAL...and my reply was..."It's only a 'great deal' if the results are 'great!' The PRICE is marvellous, but I just have warning bells going in the back of my head on this one.

Now I've read some of the pieces in this thread, I'm really worried and concerned about this company. I want to get it right FIRST TIME and I want to be in the hands of someone who does what they say they are going to do and have the experience, knowledge and specialism to come up with the goods. No one wants to be butchered, and I have these worries now having read all this, I 'really' do...

    Any advice welcome guys :)

  5. That must be it Spex - sorry for the confusion, I found it via your site! Anyway , it's really working for me so thanks for recommending it through your website! The results are fairly good aren't they?

I cannot afford a surgical procedure on the whole area so if nature can cover a reasonable part of the noggin, then I can afford to go to someone like Feller for the front bit ( which I understand he excels at getting just right!).
