Thanks for the reply. I'm about a Norwood 2/2.5 and just wanted a more uniform blended look. Being Asian with the black hair and light scalp when you shave your head you can see right away areas of thinning. Almost patchy. I just figured smp will do the trick and will blend in easy. But your saying it will not? Also I read a lot about the combo of fue and smp. I'm thinking if you do this wouldn't the fue scars be a problem? It would show when you shave your head so when do they address the scar when you decide for the combo of fue and smp. Lastly does fue hair transplant give you density for the front corners of the hairline or would you need multiple transplant. Pictures on the web look good but pictures are pictures

Does everyone here who had a transplant still take meds such as propecia? If i do have a transplant I don't plan on taking any meds. Which is why I think smp may be the best route for me.

Right now I have long hair. But if I do get smp I understand I will have to shave my hair forever. If I go the hair hair transplant route is it necessary to be on meds like propecia? Not everyone who gets transplants are on meds? Any feedback on this subject are welcome. I'm really curious about this

Thanks for all the replies. I have not contacted any of the smp clinics. Right now just researching. I'm a norwood 2/2.5 and thinking about smp rather than a hair transplant. I just feel that hair transplant won't give you density or fullness. The only thing is I haven't seen a lot of norwood 2s getting smp or I haven't seen any examples

What you guys think about getting smp for a norwood 2/2.5 head. Just wondering if they would have to do smp to the entire head or just the bald thinning areas like the front corners in my case. I'm asian so not sure if it will blend right or not. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. And also if I continue to thin would smp look right?
