everyone says use finasteride it is good and helped them in regrowth ot halting the hair loss but when the before after pictures concerned no one shows there results and there very limited before after pictures of finasteride users , sometimes i doubt , does finasteride really help and make hair thick or regrow ? i am currently on fin from 2 months

I WAS JUST THINKING , IS FINASTERIDE REALLY A CURE TO BALDNESS ? AND ALSO IS THERE ANY LINK BETWEEN daily MASTURBATION OR SEX and hair loss . it sounds like an awkward question but i just want to clear my doubt .

yes i agree with you , actually this is only internet through which we hair loss sufferer have so much knowledge about our hairs and hair loss , and actually atleast we get to know what is the main reason behind our hair loss and we do not get bald overnight and hundereds of other things and through this we our saved by bogus clinics and treatments , but at the first sign of our hair loss if we search the internet we do not what to trust , who to trust , which information is right and which is wrong and we make wrong decisions and till we get to know the main reason behind and try to cope up with our hair loss things actually get worse or we have lost so much of hairs .

i have been in depression almost 4 years till now , but not much as initial years , actually the depression is mainly like " WHY IT IS HAPPENING TO ME " , at that time i thought i was the only person and always we try avoid this hair loss question and not discuss with people . this the main problem of hair loss sufferer . actually the main depression is of : 1 .not getting the answers about hair loss 2 . the market is full of bogus treatments and products 3 . there is no one to understand the emotions of a hair loss sufferer 4. i think lack of objective information i was active when i first saw my hair loss , but got depressed becoz everything i tried just dint work and these doctors or physicians make fool of hair loss sufferers i think , becoz they know that there treatment is not going to work and they know the actual cause of hair loss but they do not tell there patients and the patient feel depressed all the time . and internet also is full of shit information on hair loss . in my views the lack of objective information for a hair loss sufferer make him more curious and more depressed .

hi guys , i was just thinking , hair loss hits our confidence two times and makes us depressed . first we regret that our hairs are falling and the second time we regret that why we got depressed when our hairs were falling , so actually it hits us twice . i regret today , how much time i have wasted in depression of my hair loss , due to lack of knowledge and actually people do not know about our hair loss but it is always in our head .

thank you sir for your advice . i more thing i want to ask , like if i go for a ht just to get a hairline like just get a symmetry , it can give a more confident look to me and the rest hairs i can save through meds . so is this decision correct ?

I APPRECIATE your advice , thanx for giving me such a helpful advice , i think this is how it works , helping people and share your experiences with others . but i was just thinking , like if i go for a ht know i think i can have better looks now and atleast i can enjoy my 6-7 years now and when we hit 35 i think many of us gets bald and we get older and we have more things to do in life , like we have kids there problems and hell lot of other tensions and also many of us go bald so we are adjustable in that age . this is my opinion for getting a ht now , and this is not my first sign my first sign of hair loss was 7 years ago since then i am struggling . thanks , any advice appreciated

the main fear is i have lost a significant density , i always used to grow my hairs till shoulders and played drums and guiter and used to bang them , but somehting went wrong with my hair , also the reason for starting meds is , we never know how much more hair we will loose and i just read that save your donor area , i will be happy if i can have hairs till age 35-40 , afterwards who cares. And also i have used all that snake oil shit i think that took my density away

hi guys , i had been suffering from dermatitis from over 4 - 5 years , from 18 years of age to 22 , i thought it will never end , my whole scalp gets white after i wash and when i get my hairs wet and a lot of hairs fall , , i think that took my texture , after shampoo while day some white thing keep on shedding , it shed like someone has sprikled talc on my hairs i was very irritated by it , but after 4 years of struggle a dermatologist gave me a lotion named DANDRID . I USED IT FOR AROUND 1-2 MONTHS REGUALR , then 2wice a week and now after 15 days , it did wonders , my scalp is clean now no dandruff nothing , but yes if i go in sun sometimes i see very minimal dandruff but not very severe , hair loss is the only problem now , for that i have convinced my self to use finasteride and i am on dr.reddy finax from 2 months , i have not seen any side effects but scared of them , i sometimes regret i should have started 3-4 years before but who knows it can bring any side - effects , but your teen and college days are the best of your life , when you dont need to worry about anything and your smells awsum . and yes i have read many people stories on finasteride good results god knows if they are saying truth or betraying us , but everyone says finasteride is the only hope so i made a decision to try . i hope my hair gets thicker and fuller and ofcourse i will go for a ht . SHAMPOO YOUR HAIRS DAILY I THINK OR AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK , I HAD MY OWN EXPERIENCE WHEN PEOPLE SAYS DO NOT SHAMPOO YOUR HAIR , ALWAYS PUT OIL, BELIEVE IT WILL MAKE HAIRS WORSE , KEEP THE SCALP CLEAN thanks , akash

i am on dr reddy finax from over 2 months , not suffered any side effects , or i do not think about them much dont know , but not any sexual side effects . but i am only on 2 months now and know about long term , god save us and grow some hairs . not seen any progress in my hair . my hairs do not fall like hell . but 50-60 may be the whole day . i am norwood 3 , diffused top , lost front and the front hairs do not grow know and very fine hairs on top

Hi guys , My name is akash . I am suffering from hair loss since 19 years of age . Now i am 24 . I have tried the most expensive and most cheap , snake oils ,loreal products everything to stop or regrow hairs but they made situation worse . I am on finasteride from almost 2 months . My hair loss i think controlled or they are so fine that i cannot see them falling . I have attached some pictures i need a hair transplant . Please advice me a doctor and what best i can get .
