Ah, thanks for the info? By chair, would an absolutely normal sitting upright chair be okay, or do you mean a recliner? Recliners can be hard to find in an affordable hotel. Aha

Also another question. I am a VERY ROUGH sleeper. Like I roll and have torn the bed sheets on multiple occasions. Will one of those travel pillows and being propped up be enough to prevent rolling around all crazy?

I'm organizing my basic plan really before I actually book the HT, so I'd just like to know as to if travelling home on a 20-30 hours worth of flights would be okay that soon after a hair transplant?

Also there'd be like a 4 hour taxi ride from Chandigarh to Delhi, which is even more travel time...

Johnny24, is it okay to ask for the graft price of the transplant? I've been looking at either bhatii or Pradeep sohi, and bhatti's pricing seems to change a lot.

His email said 100INR, but his website says US$1.20 and in another topic I was told that its 70INr a graft.mim kind of confused.

Actually bhatti's graft prices are more that that. I received this email yesterday mentioning his prices.

So, it seems that the prices listed on Darling Bud's site (US$1.20 per graft) are incorrect, leading the to surgery price being quite a bit more expensive than I expected, so I've been looking into the Reviva clinic.

There's not much information on this clinic that I've found, but the examples on this site seemed rather positive + the actual site lists celebrities that have been operated on by him, so I'm led to trust him.

He's quick to email, I received a consultation in a day and an answer to a further question I had within the hour that I had sent it.

Would anyone here have an actual opinion on him? I feel that I've found the surgeon who fits me needs perfectly, but I'd like to ask before rushing off to him for surgery.

As far as I can see it, it's a trustworthy clinic that charges 60 Indian Rupees for FUE, and the little information I could find wasn't negative at all (People claimed that he wasn't returning emails, but I assume they used his old site, the new site had a different email address).

I understand, this is like the third time I've done it, so I'll stop posting links aha. I doubt I'm going to risk it, I'm just curious because they seem both legitimate/like they'd be decent and skeptical at the same time, like anything good I see about them is complimented by something bad.

I'm more just finding places looking for a more convenient hair transplant clinic ('not suitable' to Madhu due to being young, Dr Radha seems great, but how the heck do I get to visakhapatnam without a 12 hour taxi/train. Bhatti and chandigarh is alright, but with the healing and etc of a transplant, I'm unsure is like 21-30 hours of flights or 20 hours of flights and a 4 hour taxi would be good, like it could affect healing).

So I'm just searching for a decent place in New Delhi, mainly.

My nose/brow is rather flat and there's no area where I can't stop 'pushing up' as you explained it.

So, the image shows the two areas that I've seen the glabella shown in diagrams. between the eyes seems false, but I'd just like to be sure.

If it's the slightly under the eybrow one, then my hairline is 6.5, 7cm, which I assume If I just close it in will make an acceptable feminine hairline.

I've had links here removed before, but hey we're directly to HT sites. I'm really just bored at the moment and trying to find evidence that this place is actually legitimate (or not).

I have no idea if any links posted are paid advertisements or whatever (like, doctor pays for site to list them as 'top 10'), it's just what I'm finding.

I figured I'm able to look for the best transplant for price and while I'm hoping to go to Dr. madhu, it appears I'm going to be rejected due to age related reasons, most likely going to bhatti who appears to be okay with younger transplants.

But the doctors in the title, own a clinic called 'hair n senses', which I'm curious, yet very very skeptical about.

On one hand the clinic provides a satisfaction guarantee, promising to replace grafts that don't grow/etc. tha might be good if they're actually a proper clinic.

Of the other hand they claim to have AAAM membership on their site, though I couldn't find them anyone on te site, I email AAAM and got a reply saying they'd be told to remove the label. It's probably confirms that they're a fraud, but I don't know a bunch about this stuff, so I'm still ever so slightly curious. Bhutis' apparently has 6 years of hair transplant experience, as just another thing.

Probably pointless, but that's the AAAM email.

I doubt that I'm even going to go here for surgery, but I'm honestly just curious about their legitimacy. They claim to be popular and to have done over 1200 hair transplants, but I can't find any info about them.

Aha, thanks for the professional answer. If you don't mind me asking, when they say that a female hairline is 5-6 cm on average and a male's is 7-8cm, are they using the glabella or the eyebrow measurement for the reference?

I understand that, but this was more about measuring the height than creating a hairline. Like whenever someone mentions their hairline height they use terms like from the glabella, over the eyebrows, from the eyebrows and sometimes from the midline of the eyes. Was just confused in that regard, aha

Like, I understand from the eyebrows to your hairline, but every site seems to explain it differently. Is is from the midpoint of the eyes, right under the eyebrows or right above the eyebrows is what I want to know?

I've seen Platelet Rich Plasma therapy occasionally mentioned in hair restoration and that some doctors use it after/during the transplant apparently. I won't be doing that, but would it be something that could be worth doing like a month after the transplant? Could help with additional healing, increased growth or something. Maybe even thicken up the thinned areas where transplants will be too making the whole thing appear thicker.

After looking at pretty much every Indian HT surgeon that would come up on Google, I've decided that Dr Madhu is the best case for me, aiming to book the date for February. He's recommended here, seems to have a great track record, very affordable graft pricings and Hyderabad is a much cheaper place to travel to compared to chandigarh and the city that Radhu's clinic is based in, making the whole thing seem high quality but affordable. Decided on 2000-2500 grafts (depends on donor density + laxity, I guess... Better do the exercises....). My hair shouldn't recede again after numerous years thanks to hormone replacement, so I feel safe using that number of grafts for the hairline.

But I do have questions for anyone who might have experience with him...

I sent the consultation 2 days ago, so it's probably too early to worry about replies, but most cosmetic surgery clinics reply within a few hours - one day, is he just slow with this?

Also, what's the best amount of time to stay in India? I was thinking that I should arrive 1 day prior to the surgery, stay 10 days post op and leave on the 11th day, but would like advice from someone better experienced. The best flights have 1 stop and are overall 14-15 hours long, while other flights can last up to 30 hours with 2 or more stops, so I figured that it's best to wait until the grafts are more secured for something like that.

Also, should I see a dermatologist to get an idea of my hair's density before the operation or just not worry until the actual day?

Aha, I only discovered him yesterday and he seems good. Recommendation on this site, a lot more qualifications and so forth for only a little more. I'll probably actually go with this guy...

Oh, so links aren't allowed. Anyways, I ended up messaging them with images to get a price estimate and etc, and 2000 grafts comes to like 101124 Indian rupees, which is like $1750Aud.

They're extremely cheap, especially combined with cheaper flights to Delhi compared to chandigarh.

The email had a 'this offer is valid only until September 30th, hurry up!", which makes me skeptical, almost pressuring me into paying for them.

It's apparently one of the most known Indian clinics, but googling it comes up with nothing outside of their site, even searching this forum has one post and it's another question about them...

For a surgeon that's apparently operated on 'over 1200' patients, they seem really unheard of.

Again, has anybody heard of them or have experience?

It's probably okay to use hairspray and etc after 2 weeks. Grafts are meant to be permanently fixed by then, so I can't imagine it hurting.

Waiting a month might be best if you want to be absolutely 100% sure it's okay.

I'm not an expert, so other people would be better than me at this...

I'm considering them, but the fact that no forum or anywhere seems to have a patient's opinion outside of their side makes me skeptical.

So my original question was just that has anybody heard of them before? They have a 100% Guarantee promising replacement of failed grafts/etc too, so they don't seem like a clinic that would 'take the money and run'.

Either way, they're probably better than most Australian surgeons.

I understand that it's probably a bad idea at first glance, but along with the HT cost I'm also having to play for flights, accomodation and etc in India and while its still cheaper than doing it in Australia, the price does add up...

And if I'm getting a forehead reconstruction later on, I can't see why not to a scalp advance... They use the same incision so I don't think there'd be any harm in it.

So, I got a reply from Dr Bhatti and my graft estimate was in the 2000 - 2500 range. This is honestly a bit too expensive for me in one go so I thought I'd redesign my plan to fill in the bald spots, but leave my hairline high, to be repaired with a scalp advance (Along with other surgeries) 6-12 months later... Basically I'm hoping for 1500 grafts, with 2000 being the absolute maximum...

Basically, my temples have always been rather thin and went back, so I'm not aiming to change that, basically just fill in the area circled which for the most part goes slightly into my existing hair and etc...

I know it's uneven and etc right now, but it's more of a plan than absolute. Measuring behind the pointy bit of hair I have (basically where the straight hairline will be) my forehead is about 7cm from hairline to the bottom/slightly under my eyebrows...
